I'm perfectly ok with some things not being inclusive. Not everything has to be for everyone. I'm not mad about things that aren't made with me/ my taste in mind. That's ok, because some other things are.

It feels weird to me that this is a hot take. Maybe it's not though 🤷‍♀️
I don't want this taken out of context, I do like some inclusive things, & in entertainment like gaming I do love to see a variety

But if something is created that isn't my style (eg: too hard/easy, no female characters, etc) I can either see if I like it or play something else
I just feel like a lot of creativity is lost when everything is expected to be inclusive these days. Developers can't even make challenging games without backlash for not making an easy mode, and we see existing franchises completely changed because of it in general
Also you never know, some audiences end up loving things that weren't designed FOR them. The original Gears of War was extremely gory with exaggerated muscular men with chainsaw guns. It doesn't sound inclusive to women, and yet it garnered a surprisingly massive female base
So who'd have thought... maybe people just universally like good games regardless of if we are represented or not 😆

*variety and representation is still great, but doesn't have to be shoehorned into EVERYTHING. I enjoy playing sausage fest games sometimes too 😂
Also shout out to games like SSX Tricky that had an awesome and diverse cast and treated it like a completely normal thing as they should have without begging for woke points
