Recent research shows the 2009 swine flu caused by a new strain of H1N1 killed up to 203,000 people worldwide — 10x more than initial estimates.

When @WHO announced an end to the pandemic, they reported a death toll of about 18,500.

Also worth noting...
Results of recent research showed that 62%-85% of those who died in the 2009 H1N1 swine-flu pandemic were YOUNGER than age 65.

With the seasonal non-H1N1 flu, only 19% of deaths occur in people age 65 and younger.

So, yes, there are BIG differences between #COVID19 and flu.
One of those big differences is that — at least as of now — the flu is more deadly to people younger than age 65, and the swine flu was far more deadly.

I know, it almost killed me B/C of a complete lack of preparation by the fed gov at VA.

But coronavirus is more contagious.
And because I know there will be people asking for links, here are a few to back that up.
