We're working with partners, governments & UN agencies in 65 countries to determine how best to respond to #Covid_19 crisis. Given our expertise in public health & sanitation, we're deeply concerned about impacts in poor countries with weak public health systems. 2/5

We are also concerned that if the disease hits #refugee camps and other places where people are already struggling to access health care or food, #Covid_19 will become even more devastating.

Women are likely to be hardest hit by this crisis – 70% of the world’s health workers are women & they are on the front lines of infection risk. Women also shoulder the vast burden of unpaid care which will increase dramatically with caring for sick family members. #Covid_19 4/5
