To be clear, CDC is recommending a total shutdown of >50 people weddings, sporting events, conferences et al right now and for the next 8 weeks. And a shutdown of smaller events w/out social distancing, hand hygiene and protecting vulnerable populations.
I have questions. Like, what about movie theaters. Restaurants. Etc. There are a lot of businesses with “day to day” operations that include a lot more than 50 people hanging out in one place.
Also, what about Congress? It’s filled with old people. They fly all around the country every week. It’s a Petri dish.
