Transnational organized crime is reliant on the subjugation of others. Including/especially undocumented workers.
Why do evil mobsters prefer undocumented workers? Aside from being able to hang on to as much money as possible by not paying them adequately, to sociopathic mobsters, undocumented workers are expendable.
When you're constantly doing, saying and dealing in horrible, illegal things, you want someone who isn't documented witnessing that shit. If they pose a problem, remind them of their status, or worse. And no one will know.

To realize their profits, mobsters need money-launderers (what good is all that bloodshed, if you can't spend your💰?).
2/ The "layering" of money-laundering is actually a roadmap to institutions that support the money-launderer-in-chief.
They are also the avenues thru which Putin's mafia accesses & exerts influence over Americans: hedge funds, non-profits (ex. NRA, mega churches), SV tech, etc.
3/ But that final piece in the laundering process is the jewel: luxury real estate.
Mobsters can go from their inter-connected offshore LLCs directly to real estate, where they have an enterprise - a "brand" - fully in the pocket.
Purchase a condo via concealed ownership LLC...
