Let me tell you an interesting misdeed of Congress in the past & then decide do they have any Right to criticize nomination of Ranjan Gogoi to RS.
Did You ever hear about Justice Bahrul Islam, Ex Supreme Court Justice?
He was RS member of Congress (I) between 1962 to 1972.
A RS Member was then appointed as Judge of the then Assam & Nagaland HC (Now Gauhati HC) on 20.01.1972. Retired as CJ of Gauhati HC Retired on 1.03.1980
Intrestingly after his Retirement from HC, he was Appointed Judge, Supreme Court of India 14.12.1980. How?????
Now the main Twist in the story

During his tenure as SC judge he granted the then Bihar CM Jagannath Mishra a reprieve from trial for forgery & criminal misconduct.
