In my self-quarantine, I just watched on #Canadian TV 2 ½ hours of press conference with the Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau , Deputy Prime Minister @cafreeland and almost dozen Ministers and a couple of Public Health officials. They sat 1 meter apart and made their...
announcements. They then sat and answered ALL the press's questions (in both official languages!) Honestly, to the point and in detail. No fudging. No politicking. No blaming anyone. Praising the opposition parties, the provincial Premiers and all city mayor's.
They spoke in complete sentences with no slogans. What a pleasure, so reassuring that these are serious public servants doing their best for the people they represent. A true lesson for democracies everywhere (this means you Senators and Executive branch!)!
