So not filling out the census hurts your town, your county, and your state. It hurts your schools, your housing programs, your infrastructure, your roads, highways, and so many other important things in your life

11) There are many difficulties with the census. It often does not count the homeless, people who need services and because they are uncounted, the states are not funded for their needs.
12) Another truly damaging aspect is the counting of prisoners where they are rather than where they are from. This benefits the towns that have prisons who are disproportionately well-funded (they are not paying for the prison) and underfunds the communities where they come from
