I just found out I have been exposed to coronavirus. It's funny, I actually laughed about how we weren't social distancing when it happened. Her dad died, we were reminiscing about him. We hugged and said, this isn't social distancing. She has it.
I sent a note to my doc, said I have no fever, but have had headache, sore throat, and sniffles. Only an occasional cough, not COUGHING! Assumed I had a cold.
I am not assuming I have it. My primary is an infectious disease specialist, so I think she will know what's what. I am not going to worry, that is crazymaking. Even if I get sick, I am pretty well set. My groceries are well-stocked, I just sent in a refill order on my Rx
and a friend will pick them up for me so I won't be exposing. I have been self-isolating for the last 11 days, since they began closing schools because I have a weak immune system, so I haven't been spreading it around.
The only exception being meeting with her because her dad died.
Well, the clinic wants me to presume I have it and stay home. They are not ordering a test because they don't want people coming in, lol. Which is fine with me. If symptoms get bad, go to ER, not the clinic. So, if you're curious this is what I was told to take
1. Stop taking my Rx for arthritis because it's an NSAID. My poor hands.
2. Robitussin DM (it's always Robitussin, isn't it?)
3. Tylenol
4. Sore throat lozenges
5. Sudogest (an Rx)

The other interesting thing is everybody says call your clinic if you think you have it. My clinic is not testing nor treating coronavirus. Everyone is told to go to the hospital/ER
