THREAD: 2020 shows how hard-fought @HillaryClinton's rise was. To be taken seriously, she couldn't just take men's resumé-building path. She had to *live* in the WH first & juggle dual roles as a smiling First Lady+policymaker, & later had to work for another president. •1
For Bill Clinton, being a little known governor was enough to be president. For Hillary, merely being an effective senator with a strong legislative achievement record wasn't enough. She had to humble herself & lose to a man who'd been senator half as long w/no WH experience. •2
Once more, Hillary had to keep working for the White House to prove herself, building her resumé and policy chops as secretary of state, during which time she traveled more than any past SOS had in four years. It was paying off; by 2013, she had a 69% favorable rating. •3

Neither FDR nor LBJ considered themselves "Democratic socialists" or anti-establishment.
This will only shock & outrage you if your definition of "establishment" is something other than "an established order of society: such as
a group of social, economic, & political leaders who form a ruling class."

In otherwise, those capable of exercising power (ex: LBJ & FDR).

Yesterday I shared that my Algo is now in Green Zone. It shows 80% in Equity. This trigger prompts me to say markets are in Cheap Valuation Zone and one should start investing in Equity as an asset class.
Does it mean markets cannot correct from this point onwards? Clearly no. Markets can correct from this level as well. In 2008-2009 correction, Market PE had gone to as low as 11. Currently we are at 17.

Also, as you can see from the Algo, it is not saying 100% in Equity but 80%
Question that is troubling minds of Advisors and Investors is should we sit out still and let markets correct or should we invest?

Earlier there were Supply side concerns due to Chinese supply chain disruption. Now there will be world wide demand side disruption due to #COVID

Judge Howell's pandemic order postpones all civil and criminal trials until May 11, citing a “reduced ability to obtain an adequate spectrum of prospective jurors."
Judge Howell also postponing all non-jury trial proceedings over the next month, including hearings and court appearances, absent an order from a presiding judge on or before Apr 17 for a teleconference or in-person hearing.

As the US and many other countries brace for an uptick in new infections, hospitalizations, and deaths due to #COVID-19, here is one other problem almost no one is talking about: long-term chronic illness.

Finally authorities are putting Mazandaran province on quarantine: only fuel and food trucks are allowed. This late, its effectiveness will be limited.

The same authorities have had argued for quarantine to be "non-scientific" and "from middle ages".
