Neither FDR nor LBJ considered themselves "Democratic socialists" or anti-establishment.
This will only shock & outrage you if your definition of "establishment" is something other than "an established order of society: such as
a group of social, economic, & political leaders who form a ruling class."

In otherwise, those capable of exercising power (ex: LBJ & FDR).
Likewise, if Bernie Sanders became president, he would be the key figure of America's political establishment, even if he warred with other factions.

If Bernie's wing of the party took over the majority of the party's apparatus, they would then be the Democratic establishment.
