Long list of new measures that will essentially further reduce public life and contacts: Contacts outside of own household should be reduced to absolute minimum and distance of at least 1,5 meters kept from other people in public.
„The most important thing is to adhere to the safety distance“, says Merkel. Even if we’re not used to it from our previous lives, it makes a huge difference now in times of #covid19 whether you stand half a meter or one and a half meters apart, she says.
