Been watching lots of Peep Show and Thick Of It when there is a need to cheer up.
A) They remain completely amazing. To call them a laugh a minute would be to severely understate how funny they are.
B) It is already weird to see people in big groups on telly. As jarring as old programmes where people smoke inside.
Thick Of It particularly odd. All the panics and drama concern political events which seem tiny next to what we've gone through over last four years - and especially last few weeks. It's brutal, but also oddly quaint.
One final thing on this. All the characters are so remarkably complete. Take Terri. Easy to just focus on Tucker, but she is constantly hilarious, because you can properly see her internal life, she feels utterly real. Same goes for everyone in that cast.
