In Alzano Lombardo 62 people died in the last 30 days, compared to 9 last year.
In Nembro, 120 people died, compared to 14 last year.
But the most important (and scary) thing is that most of these people were *not* tested for coronavirus, because of lack of tampons.

What’s emerging is that the positive cases and the deaths in Bergamo may be far more than actually reported. An article in a major newspaper in Italy (Il Fatto Quotidiano) argues that it’s possible that half of the population in the province of Bergamo has the virus.
Why? Because of the late lockdown. This is a very strong virus. In normal conditions, it affects half of the population and kills enough people that the mortality rate becomes 7 times more than normal.
Please, you can still avoid this, learn from our mistakes, take this seriously, stay at home, wash your hands, practice social distance. I know that’s a sacrifice. But it’s a small sacrifice, compared to the huge benefit for you, your loved ones, and the society as a whole.
