Seems odd that Bayer would donate three million malaria tablets to U.S. if there was no substantive potential for use against COVID-19. Also weird that 750k were sent to New York and the rest were not discussed. reut.rs/2U478Pi
Additionally, Novartis, a Swiss multinational pharmaceutical company, says it will donate 130 million doses of hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug, to fight coronavirus.

If there wasn't a demonstrable likelihood, then why such an emphasis?

Novartis stated they have 50,000,000 doses on hand with another 80,000,000 doses ready by May. Yet the media is making the case that Chloroquine is unsafe, and Dr. Fauci stated that it may be unsafe and needs more study.
The information just doesn't add up. If there isn't a great deal of likelihood for it to be curative, then why produce 130,000,000 doses of Chloroquine?

1. Really smart move by Trump/Mnuchin to assist small businesses fast.

Mnuchin is standing up a new funding mechanism for small businesses within the Small Business Administration (SBA).
2. The treasury is using the architecture of the FDIC to be the point of contact for businesses who need short-term bridge funds to help carry them.
3. All FDIC insured lenders can operate as point of contact lenders for small businesses that need emergency funding.

Between the Appalachian mountain range and the Colorado mountain range there is a massive amount of grain, meal, and derivative (farming) products generated. Thin component inventories are the cause of the current manufacturing supply chain stress... Won't reconcile soon.
There is a process of background prioritization taking place within the grain (total), flour, meal, beans, sector. The downstream ingredient system has a long-term and short-term priority schedule.

All the state Governors complaining about a lack of items need to be asked a simple question: "what are *YOU* doing about it"?

Each state has an independent healthcare system & all processes. States are designed to be self-sufficient. If they deconstructed that it's on them.
Anyone who unintelligently argues against this truism, or denies the empirical truth behind it, should be asked another simple question: "Why is it illegal to sell health insurance across state lines"?
It is not up to the federal government to run the operations of the states or protect state citizens from the gross ineptitude of the politicians they elected.

(Internally) Taxpayers in Arizona are not responsible for subsidizing the poor decisions of Michigan and vice-versa.

The ventilator is one of the most important pieces of equipment in the fight against coronavirus. If a patient can’t breathe on their own, a ventilator helps move air in and out of the lungs for them - providing oxygen and also, importantly, removing carbon dioxide. (1/19)
Ventilators are also called breathing machines. They were also previously called respirators, but that is an outdated use of the word. Respirators in a health care setting typically means a protective mask. (2/19)
Respiratory therapists help manage the ventilators and help care for patients using them. And, the room where a ventilator is stored has to be properly equipped, including oxygen and back-up power supply to make sure the ventilator never stops accidentally. (3/19)
