It REALLY galls me that at least one GOP Congressman-Thomas Massie (Ky) returned to DC to upend the House voice vote on the Stimulus plan today..
KEEP your damn germs at home, let Americans have $$ we need. I hope that his constituents are paying attention.

2-Know that if Massie or ANYONE calls for a Roll Call Vote, it will require all of Congress to return to the Hill & vote in person. This will cause more delay in the Stimulus Plan being enacted, and God knows how many to contract Covid.

3-A quorum of 216 is necessary to pass this Stimulus Plan, & bc of Massie's lack of concern @ his status with GOP party leadership, or us, or anything, Speaker Pelosi has now asked all MoC who can, to return to DC. This is utterly uncalled for.

In an interview with WaPo, Thomas Massie disclaimed responsibility for forcing members back to Washington, arguing that House leaders should have adhered to the letter of the Constitution and chamber rules.
2-Massie said: “‘I am wholly rejecting the notion that I am the culpable one because I am insisting on the rules..Why aren’t you indicting Kevin McCarthy for conspiracy to circumvent the Constitution?’”

3-House Dem leadership paired with the GOP minority to put down Massie's efforts to force Cong to put their vote on the record. House rules mandate that a request for a recorded vote have the support of 1/5 of those present-they made sure it didn't happen.

Caucus. Now he has endorsed the candidate that his own consultant is working for in this race.
