Are you following the developing controversy of the Imperial College model? Daily Wire runs a story with a critic of Neil Ferguson. Who would have thought that the intellectually elite would have chosen a model that was not peer reviewed? I can't find evidence of a peer review.

such a requirement is not what she thinks is necessary. Some are asking because we want to help shape good decisions. It is clear that public input is only a check box on form that relates to statutes for this governor. Sure wish our news outlets asked these questions. #nmpol
Shapiro covers the "changed" not changed status in the article. And, yes, the quotes from Ferguson from yesterday. The point for me is that I would think that the US Scientific Community would use models that have been peer reviewed. It is a pretty well accepted practice and
I do not see any peer reviews. Are we really that far away from the scientific method that such a step is skipped at the public health policy level? I am just some old has been debater that remembers a few logic presses. Any scientific study always get the basic question of
"So tell me about the CV of the man who conducted the study." and "If this guy is so damn smart, how come so many people disagree with the conclusions of his study?" and "Oh, so you don't know of anyone who disagrees with your source?" and "Could it be that you did not check?"
and "Since you didn't check, we did. We found that the study has not been peer reviewed." But who am I to question the Great and Powerful Oz?
I have said from the beginning that the data plugged into the model is probably early numbers from China. And, yeah, I wondered then, as now, whether or not we could trust those numbers. I wondered if the GIGO criterion was being tested. Is the government so massive that
