So Krystal Ball, who is a Bernie Sanders surrogate, did an interview with Tara Reade about her rape charge against JoeBiden. Ball asserts that Reade "went to" Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren with her accusation and that Harris blew her off and Warren "sent her a form letter."
Why would Reade "go to" Harris and Warren? Only one could be her senator, but why would she go to either in the first place?
I read the Intercept piece on Reade and the long Newsweek story that dropped over the weekend. MSM beyond Newsweek should ask Biden about this, since there is a trial by innuendo from Bernie's surrogates. And now two senators are accused of orchestrating a cover up for Biden.
I am not putting any of these pieces up, but you can Google Tara Reade and find the Intercept and Newsweek stories, both in-depth, and Krystal Ball's interview on CNN. I could find no statements from either Harris or Warren. The 1st and only time they are mentioned is by Ball.
I have real concerns about our two most progressive senators, both of whom are on Biden's short list for VP, being accused by Reade of ignoring her. Why has Reade not mentioned Harris and Warren in either her interview with the Intercept or Newsweek? Just to Ball?
It should be noted that Ball has been highly critical of Biden and Harris and led the anti-Warren attacks that led to the snake emoji attacks. I have not been able to find any criticism from her of Sanders.
Rape is a very serious charge to make. Pulling two women senators into that charge, one of whom was a DA, is also serious.
I have not interviewed Reade nor attempted to. So I just have questions. Maybe Ronan Farrow should interview Reade?

I do not want to debate any woman's charge of rape. But I do want that charge investigated for everyone involved, which includes the American people, because Biden is the titular Democratic nominee and both Harris and Warren are short-listed as his running mate.

Since folks have been camped out in my mentions discussing this: Why didn't Krystal Ball ask to see both Reade's letters to Harris and Warren and the alleged "form letter" she says Warren sent her? And why didn't she ask "why them?" I would have--it's the most basic journalism.
