4/7 During World War 2, volunteers again signed up with the Red Cross to make clothing and surgical dressings.
5/7 Today, the CDC has said that homemade masks are a crisis response option when other supplies have been exhausted. Volunteer organizations have offered guidelines on how to sew your own mask.
