Hey @FitTuber. U R advising #quackery to your poor little followers.
While selecting these pills, UR main criteria was how common the issue is faced in day to day life, how straightforward it’s #Ayurvedic solution is & safety medicine for all body types.
Let me correct U 1/
Criteria for selecting a drug for use in a medical condition is basically two things only
➡️efficacy or ability to produce a desired or intended result
➡️safety. Let me explain this term 4 U: "the condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk, or injury" 2/
U hav extensively studied all scriptures, spoken 2 #Ayurveda experts (creamy-layer of #pseudoscience), modern docs! (plz name them in description, becoz they hav failed themselves, U, the community as whole - or did U just use that term to show credibility to UR stupid post?) 3/
UR criteria doesnt feature EFFICACY which means the #quackery pills you R shamelessly promoting or #healthcare [which U r not trained in] are ALL INEFFECTIVE. I WONDER, how many of theez U take daily while dumping danger on UR viewers/followers!
4/
Genuine question. Do U REALLY take Sudarshanvati 4 a fever or rush 2 UR nearby clinic/hospital for a paracetamol?! Why the hypocrisy?
Y did U not discuss 👇 'CASTOR OIL' 4 constipation be4 moronically putting it in UR description? Is that safe? Y R U 1-sided on #publichealth 5/
Since U hav so 'extensively' studied scriptures, spoken 2 modern docs, plz share links 2 safety & efficacy of the products U have advertised. This is also UR responsibility. If U cant, my next tweet will help U. @malini_aisola@IMAIndiaOrg@TwitterSafety
6/
I presume U lack data on safety right? So here's wat I'm doing. I wil source all theez products U advertised in the video. I will also source 'modern' medicines U hav mentioned. I wil then perform heavy toxiciology analysis. I will post results in coming few wks 7/ #medtwitter
Also, you might want to research better before you go causing danger to public health. I think you might have missed this little issue 👇pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29423815/
2/ It went viral on @Twitter
This caught eye of the big company who then proceeded to email me directly regarding my study, asking for proof. I said all my data was in the paper (samples sourced samples frm Amazon from an 'associate seller' 4 analysis)
3/ They sent a direct letter (written by a prominent professor at Univ of Guelph, Canada / who works with the company) to the publisher #elsevier outlining 'problems' with my study, asking 4 'retraction'. The publisher suggested we provide a rebuttal - which we did, 24 page long.
#Ayurveda 2 prevent surgical site infections. Is this the #future? Looks good. But it's smoke & mirrors. How did this start? A team of scientific practitioners (including #orthopedic#surgeon below) performed worlds 1st surgery(prostate)wit only #herbals without antibiotics. 1/
4 yrs back this was published in a newspaper. Yes. The same 'scientific newspaper' deal that ruined real #COVID19 public awareness. m.timesofindia.com/city/meerut/In…
The authors of 'study' gave 10 days of giloy, guduchi and 'anti infective herbs', & performed surgery in an elderly man 2/
What happened then? Voila! There was no infection and the authors claimed that herbs prevented surgical site infection! This happened after consulting top brains in Ayurveda in the country.
Again this happened in 2016. Thats close to 5 years back. Fast forward. 3/
1/ He started writing on using sophistications 2 integrate ayurveda into mainstream, 4 betr acceptance. However, his interviews, thoughts on medicine are all twisted by #pseudoscience#quacks to show case 'modern' acceptance of #Ayurvedic thinking. It's basically a backfire.
2/ An interview, published in #pseudoscience journal shows passion 4 the unknown, bereft of scientific thinking. bit.ly/3mowxhu
Translated Ayurveda 'trinity', promotes (unknowingly demeans #science) integrative medicine on media. Not sure if tis improved clinical temper.
3/ Such integration, false promotion of hope 4 #pseudoscience has led 2 #Ayurveda using new methods on #quackery thoughts. Eg this paper @SciReports. nature.com/articles/srep1…
Basically flawed ideas tested 2 identify clinically irrelevant results which R furthr wrongly interpreted
Heavy metals 1. Lead
Values higher than prescribed @US_FDA➡️ bit.ly/3miSHBM, #Indiabit.ly/3oV794F
Lead in drugs unheard of in developed countries. #India is developing (currently underdeveloped), hence an excuse. Lead limit in paints 90mg/kg. 2/ #MedTwitter
Heavy metals 2. Cadmium
C @US_FDA list beneficial & harmful metals in humans ➡️bit.ly/2LDTEbj
Cadmium prolonged use cause multiple organ toxicity sometime wrongly diagnosed

#Ayurveda treatment for alcoholic #liver#cirrhosis - case based protocol, described in a case series of 3 patients.
Once again, forget @NetflixIndia comedy shows, this is where all the fun, comedy and jokes are now.
Caution: This limited series will drop your IQs #MedTwitter 1/
Introduction:
🔅#Ayurveda is a philosophy. Correct. No therapeutic value.
🔅Uncertainty due to uncertainty😳 HUH?
🔅#Ayush guys got 'sanskrit' spelling wrong 😵 whats with that?
🔅Time to combine evidence based medicine with case based medicine. What #herb is the author on? 2/
🌿Alcoholic is not correct. Alcohol related/associated. More compassion toward patient. But what does #Ayurveda know abt compassion right? Need a herb 4 that.
🌿Specifically note the sentence bad mouthing scientific, conventional care. That's hw these #ayush#quacks survive. 3/
1/ Here is something #interesting.
Do U know how long it takes 4 a good liver 2 develop chronic liver disease/cirrhosis? 5-10 yrs. At times more. But here is a patient developing cirrhosis in 6wks. Yes. 6wks. Reason?Excessive #energydrink.Which drink?I cant say, but its a scary 1
2/ Here is the liver biopsy done at the time of liver injury and on follow up at approx. 6 wks. The top panel shows severe fatty liver and liver cell loss, damage/necrosis and the bottom panel, transformation to cirrhosis. Why did this happen?
Ans is a vitamin - Niacin or Vit B3
3/ ➡️Niacin, vitamin B3, is a water soluble, essential B vitamin
➡️Niacin is also found in many herbal mixtures and energy drinks, sometimes in super doses
➡️Well known cause of clinically apparent liver injury when given in high doses
