Remember: because we held all the cards, they needed us more than we needed them, and the genius move of keeping no deal on the table as "no deal is better than a bad deal'", whatever Johnson brought back from Brussels was the best Brexit deal possible.

So what did we win?
More on the issue that was, according to Brextremists and even @bbcnews, so emblematic of the importance of "sovereignty" to #BrexitBritain - fishing.

If you think the big reason Conservatives hate the BBC is because they can't profit from it, you're hugely mistaken

Of course, there are some juicy assets to carve up & sell at a discount to their friends & family there, but that's not what drives Tory hatred

The reason they loathe the BBC is because it stands as a bulwark against the essence of their ideology

Whether news or drama, every show the BBC produces shares the same basic principles

Racism: bad
Poverty: bad
Hate: bad
Caring: good
Society: good
Facts: good
..and so on
