2/Like so many HCWs across the UK, some have lost their lives or been left with #LongCovid UNNECESSARILY!

& like the families of 1000s of HCWs in the UK, too many are grieving the loss of loved ones that were PREDICTABLE AND AVOIDABLE.

Like the men in #Chernobyl who kicked radioactive rubble off the roof of the reactor, OUR LIVES WERE CONSIDERED IRRELEVANT & DISPENSABLE to those in @10DowningStreet, @educationgovuk & @DHSCgovuk

So while #Conservative MPs are joining in today’s national #PatMattOnTheBack game, don’t forget that those of us in education & in health KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED on the ground.

We really do!

And while you fall over yourselves to big up the #NHS #VaccinationRollout with every word you utter, remember that the brutal & tragic truth of #COVID19UK is that you cannot vaccinate people who are no longer here!
