He needs urgent psychiatric help; a deranged speech, with. "Knife to our throat", "they spit on us", "dogs are barking, caravan walking" within one minute. "People w/PPD suffer from paranoia, an unrelenting mistrust & suspicion..., even when there is no reason to be suspicious.
Now he's talking about an imaginary "genocide" that is unbearable and can't be accepted any longer, and about the "regime" in Kyiv that "captured" power in Ukraine

#Putin just told #Macron and #Scholz that he will recognize #Donetsk and #Luhansk oblasts of #Ukraine as independent. This violation of international law & territorial integrity of Ukraine will be used as a pretext for the #Russian invasion, most likely. #UkraineConflict
#Zelenskyy tweeted that he will hold urgent consultations with Macron and Sholz and convene with the National Security and Defense Council.
#Putin is now giving a REALLY LONG speech that makes no sense and is all over the place but it is really aggressive (that's the only thing one can make out of it)

Russia has amassed between 100-200K troops on Ukraine's borders and in Belarus, moving troops from the Far East and Siberia and made a written ultimatum to the US: NATO should not accept any former Soviet republics, including Ukraine that is currently seeking admission...
...to the alliance and must roll back its troops from the countries that have borders with Russia, such as Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.) Today, the US has delivered a written response to this draft proposal.

If you are in Europe or the US, you might have not heard that #Russian troops "intervened" in #Kazakhstan where the president gave orders to "kill without warning" today. #KazakhstanProtest #Kazachstan (wrong spelling, btw) 🧵
To sum it up, the poor revolted against the reign of Nur-Sultan Nazarbaev, the former president who stayed in power for 30 years, and his puppet, a current president. The army (more or less) sided with the people.
In response, and on the current Kazakh president's request, Putin sent "peacekeeping" paratroopers. Dozens are killed. Many political analysts are commenting on the dangerous situation. However, I have not seen anyone mention an important factor: Eurasianism.
