A bit of a landmark day as #PutinsWar reaches Day 150.
That's 146 days behind schedule (and counting) for the capture of #Kyiv ๐๐๐
This is the start of my daily thread with all the news about #Ukraine's defence and #Russia's aggression.

Quite a lot of Russian rocket attacks to report in #Ukraine already
Starting in #Kharkiv where war crimes investigators are on the scene after purely civilian infrastructure was hit this morning.
Apartments & a university in the centre of the city were struck.
In #Zaporizhzhia the two sides have attacked each other overnight.
#Ukraine's Head of the region, Oleksandr Starukh confirms rocket attacks near the centre of the region. Again missiles landed near civilian infrastructure leaving big craters, but no residents reported injuries.
Exiled Mayor of #Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov says HIMARS have destroyed more Russians & war equipment. He says Orcs retreating from Melitopol were traced to Kyrylivka and hit twice today.
No photos/evidence yet
#Ukraine's Defence Staff published this video of an attack nect to the occupied power plant in #Enerhodar. So I assume it's the one from a couple of days ago.
Russian military can be seen scampering everywhere.
I know it's not worth the effort, but these numpties should at least check reverse image search before trying to pick a fight with me. This clown used a photo of RUSSIAN Nazis to tell me it was Ukrainian fascists!
Read the replies!
Meanwhile a Spokeswoman for #Ukraine's South Forces says #Russia did NOT hit grain storage in #Odesa
Nataliia Humenyuk says there were no injuries or significant damage to #Odessa port. The missiles struck the pumping station, and there was a minor fire.
People in occupied #Kherson point out the Russian narrative has changed again
They seem to have moved from all Ukrainians are scum/nationalists etc., back to a softer "Russians and Ukrainians are one people, united always" as the new sign in the city says.
Almost HIMARS o'clock!
A new video of the attack on #Odesa clearly shows the grain silos in the port
Authorities in #Mykolaiv have still not said exactly where the missile landed.
But nearby a huge apartment block seems to have lost a large number of its windows.
Reports from Russian side that there's been huge fighting taking place in #Soledar, to the north east of #Bakhmut.
The invaders have made almost no ground in the last 2 weeks, usually blaming rotation of troops.
#Ukraine needs to get its message straight about what happened in #Odesa following #Russia's attack on the port.
#Odessa Governor Maksym Marchenko this evening completely contradicts the last message. He says there are wounded and there is damage to infrastructure.
We've learned that @IMAX left Russia at the start of June, but the news is only just coming to light.
It doesn't look like an act of support from the Canadian company though - they simply have nothing to show on the big screens because of sanctions. All RU employees were fired.
A liberal news site from St.Petersburg publishes yet more proof of prisoners being given amnesties & cash to "volunteer" for #Wagner.
Great cannon fodder with #Russia short of troops now, with the advantage of not having to pay compensation when they die
They report the attack happened in Rozyvskyi district, which is north-west of #Mariupol.
Another traitor has found his usefulness for #Russia has come to an end.
Yevhen Chetkarev became 'Mayor' of #Tavriysk in #Kherson region. His power did not last long - well connected Ukrainian journalist Oleh Baturin reports Chetkarov has now been "impeached" by the Russians
UPDATE:
Local occupiers report "production workshops" and a checkpoint were damaged in #Horlivka (RU: #Gorlovka)
and another one from #Donetsk.
A driver's view, downtown in the city occupied by #Russia
President @ZelenskyyUa reckons today's attack on #Odesa is "a political blow for Russia itself."
"If anyone could say that some kind of dialogue is needed, an agreement on a ceasefire without deoccupying our territory, today's Calibers have destroyed that possibility."
1/4 I can only guess at what's happened and why in #Donetsk this evening - here's my analysis.
Some sort of incendiary munition has been used on the occupied city. These are outlawed in areas "with a concentration of civilians", so a war crime was committed.
Of course suspicion
2/4 ..falls on #Ukraine which has been shelling #Donetsk heavily for the past fortnight.
However #Kyiv has not targeted civilians (there may have been an odd stray unguided rocket) and not proven to have used incendiary munitions in a situation like this.
What we have seen in..
3/4
..the past is #Russia trying to change the agenda after committing a terrible crime or mistakes (Mariupol, Kramatorsk etc.)
It's quite possible after the stupid strikes on #Odesa that the Kremlin hurriedly decided to try to turn the focus on to "Ukraine war crimes"
4/4 So unless it can be definitively proven who fired the missiles over Donetsk it's likely people will believe the side they want to believe.
But just ask this: why would Ukraine, achieving great success with high precision HIMARS, suddenly use a prohibited weapon on civilians?

Mayor of #Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkovych has not released further details yet about this morning's damage or any casualties. Rescue services are on site.
#Russia continues to make no progress in #Donetsk region and still has not "cleaned up" the whole of #Luhansk yet.
Various attempts to move forward on the frontline were repelled by #Ukraine
Russian sources are still claiming they are rotating troops to cover for lack of success
#PutinsWar enters Day 148.
21 July: anniversary of man first walking on the moon and in exactly four months the opening match of the World Cup in Qatar will be about to kick off.
But this is the daily thread on #Russia's war in #Ukraine, updated real time so please read & share.

It's a depressing start to the day, with many attacks, shelling and deaths in #Ukraine.
Among the places worst hit - again - is #Kharkiv. The reign of terror continues by the invaders. Two died and 19 injured so far after attacks on residents.
Officials in #Kharkiv are still concealing the exact location of #Russia's strikes. However, one of the most populated areas was hit with #Ukraine alleging The Kremlin targeted transport stops and residential streets.
They also say they found evidence of cluster bombs:
Let's get Day 147 underway.
Almost 5 months since #PutinsWar on #Ukraine began and I've been documenting everything since I was in #Kyiv just before the first bombs dropped.

Impossible to verify, but #Ukraine's 58th Motorise Infantry Brigade says it wiped out an entire group of #Russia's Wagner military contractors.
The General Staff would only say this happened "on the front line" and published photos of the badges and some Russian bodies:
Each evening almost a constant stream of missiles from #Russia heading in to #Ukraine.
