Quite a lot of Russian rocket attacks to report in #Ukraine already

Starting in #Kharkiv where war crimes investigators are on the scene after purely civilian infrastructure was hit this morning.
Apartments & a university in the centre of the city were struck.

One injury reported so far in #Kharkiv after this morning's attack by #Russia which saw many rockets fly into the city centre.

#Ukraine insists these were only civilian buildings - recently #Russia has claimed Ukraine's army has been using universities for military purposes

#Ukraine has hit another bridge in #Kherson region it would seem.

The Occupants claim one of the routes over the Inhulets river has been hit in the village of #Dariivka.

That's north east of #Kherson city and could affect #Russia's ability to move equipment to/from the east

Bear in mind the previous tweet about the second bridge being struck in #Kherson region when you read the British Intel update this morning!

In #Zaporizhzhia the two sides have attacked each other overnight.

#Ukraine's Head of the region, Oleksandr Starukh confirms rocket attacks near the centre of the region. Again missiles landed near civilian infrastructure leaving big craters, but no residents reported injuries.

There could be another big story in #Zaporizhzhia/#Zaporozhe region too.

Exiled Mayor of #Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov says HIMARS have destroyed more Russians & war equipment. He says Orcs retreating from Melitopol were traced to Kyrylivka and hit twice today.

#Ukraine's Defence Staff published this video of an attack nect to the occupied power plant in #Enerhodar. So I assume it's the one from a couple of days ago.
Russian military can be seen scampering everywhere.

#Mykolaiv was also targeted again by #Russia this morning.

Regional Head Vitaliy Kim released these photos, reporting that 6 anti-aircraft missiles were used on the outskirts of the region.

Kim reports no injuries, damage to buildings after fire took hold.

Three people are dead after Calibre cruise missiles smashed in to the Kanatove military airfield in #Kirovohrad region

13 warheads hit there and one of Ukraine Railways's facilities.

Those praising Putin for the 'grain deal' need to look at this and also remember without him no grain problem

As you can see, it's still navigable with care, but badly damaged

#Ukraine's said grain, which was being stored at the port in #Odesa in readiness for export, was damaged in today's cruise missile strikes by #Russia

However, pro-Russian channels are pushing this (unverified but likely genuine) video from #Odessa, with no grain storage in sight

The #Odesa/#Odessa attack is a huge embarrassment for #Erdogan & #Guterres

It must be remembered the grain deal signed also allows #Russia to export some goods.

Meanwhile Putin knows insurance costs for ships in Ukraine will be huge, with few sailors willing to risk this terror

Nataliia Humenyuk says there were no injuries or significant damage to #Odessa port. The missiles struck the pumping station, and there was a minor fire.

People in occupied #Kherson point out the Russian narrative has changed again

They seem to have moved from all Ukrainians are scum/nationalists etc., back to a softer "Russians and Ukrainians are one people, united always" as the new sign in the city says.

A big explosion in #Mykolaiv this afternoon too, badly injuring a 16 year old.

People are still feared to be under the rubble after a missile strike on a residential building according to the Head of #Nikolaev.

Reports from Russian side that there's been huge fighting taking place in #Soledar, to the north east of #Bakhmut.

The invaders have made almost no ground in the last 2 weeks, usually blaming rotation of troops.

#Ukraine needs to get its message straight about what happened in #Odesa following #Russia's attack on the port.

#Odessa Governor Maksym Marchenko this evening completely contradicts the last message. He says there are wounded and there is damage to infrastructure.

We've learned that @IMAX left Russia at the start of June, but the news is only just coming to light.

They report the attack happened in Rozyvskyi district, which is north-west of #Mariupol.

I can only guess at what's happened and why in #Donetsk this evening - here's my analysis.

Some sort of incendiary munition has been used on the occupied city. These are outlawed in areas "with a concentration of civilians", so a war crime was committed.

Of course suspicion

..falls on #Ukraine which has been shelling #Donetsk heavily for the past fortnight.

However #Kyiv has not targeted civilians (there may have been an odd stray unguided rocket) and not proven to have used incendiary munitions in a situation like this.

What we have seen in..

..the past is #Russia trying to change the agenda after committing a terrible crime or mistakes (Mariupol, Kramatorsk etc.)
It's quite possible after the stupid strikes on #Odesa that the Kremlin hurriedly decided to try to turn the focus on to "Ukraine war crimes"

So unless it can be definitively proven who fired the missiles over Donetsk it's likely people will believe the side they want to believe.

But just ask this: why would Ukraine, achieving great success with high precision HIMARS, suddenly use a prohibited weapon on civilians?
