Hello and welcome to Wednesday's thread with all the news that matters, and a little analysis, from the war in #Ukraine
#Russia's brutal, illegal invasion continues and you can find the news here, updated throughout the day. Please share/retweet as my shadowban continues!

Today is Day 392.
There was quite a lot of activitiy last night with #Russia launching a missile attack on #Odesa (RU: #Odessa) and drone attacks across #Ukraine.
To find out what you missed, click and scroll here:
Sadly a fourth person has now died following the drone attack in #Kyiv last night. His body was recovered from the rubble of the dormitory in #Rzhyshchiv about 80km south-east of the capital itself.
This weekend is "Freedom Day" (seriously) in #Belarus, and an opposition group has said a 'security operation' in which a foreign saboteur was killed, was all staged.
BYPOL claims the "foreign terrorist" was likely a KGB stooge, citing various evidence:
I had a lovely message of support and a couple of coffees bought for me this morning by @Helm_Edward - immense thanks💙💛

Even without donations I really appreciate everyone who supports with words or retweets, so thanks again!
1/2 Back to #Zaporizhzhia and a couple of videos to show you from the scene of #Russia's missile attack on another apartment block.
18 people have been injured, four of them seriously.
Two children aged 7 and 9 are among those taken to hospital.
1 person died in today's horrific attack on residential quarters in #Zaporizhzhia
21 were wounded, 2 children among them
The impact, seen here, happened before air raid warnings sounded. #Ukraine says it's because they were hit by MLRS, taking just seconds from launch to impact
#Russia seems to be calling up tanks which are "older than Putin"
The T-54 came into commission in 1946. Here 54s and 55s are on the move from the far east of Russia.
There seems no point moving them unless they're heading to the front, in whch case they must be desperate?
A video's emerged supposedly showing #Ukraine's attack on occupied #Sevastopol in the early hours of this morning.
One particularly big explosion is clearly visible. #Russia said they destroyed 3 naval drones - but we know not to believe what the Kremlin says!
Yet another 'mysterious' fire at a military recruiting office.
This is in the city of #Svobodny in the #Amur region.
There was an arson attempt on the same enlistment office 6 months ago which damaged the facade of the building.
Thank you also today to all the contributors who've suggested stories for inclusion in the thread. As always Carolynne and Renée are two of my biggest helps, digging out stories I may have missed.
Monday was pretty quiet and this morning has started the same way in #Ukraine, with no major news to report overnight, with no update on the drone attack in #Crimea
So let's look at #Russia's daily losses. Almost 1,000 troops: tanks and artillery system numbers above average too
The British daily update uses polite language to effectively say "can you imagine what it's going to be like in #Russia in coming months: psychopaths, drug abusers and thieves are back on the streets, with many of them now suffering PTSD too. Good luck!"
Hello again, welcome to a new week, a new thread and Day 390 of #Russia's full invasion of its peaceful neighbour.
Updated throughout the day with only the relevant news from #Ukraine and beyond, this is your one-stop guide for the war in Europe.
If you need a catch up on Sunday, here's the link.
Interestingly a couple of people wrote to say my tweets weren't showing up again in their timeline. Sunday saw the fewest views, likes and retweets I can remember 😥
1/2 Bunker Boy emerged from the Kremlin yesterday, turning up in #Crimea, which he likes to do to celebrate anniversaries of the capture.
Putin also survived a trip to occupied #Mariupol', where he allegedly met with locals, but on footage I saw it was all officials.
2/2 What I find interesting is how the Kremlin tried to make out #Putin had driven to #Crimea, and again today they're at pains to show footage of him "driving around #Mariupol."
I believe this shows there's serious concern in Moscow about his health, so he must prove he's fit.
Day 388 of the war. The day after the International Criminal Court indicted Putin with a war crime.
Welcome to Saturday's thread with all the news concerning #Ukraine's defence against #Russia's aggression & invasion.
Updated throughout the day so come back and check regularly!
Well Friday was an historic day as the current President of a permanent member of the UN Security Council was charged with a war crime. It will be the first of many.

While #Russia is stalling over agreeing to a 120 day extension of the grain deal, the Terrorist State is secretly stealing Ukrainian grain and exporting it from #Crimea according to the RIAMelitopol channel.
They publish these photos they claim show Occupiers loading the grain.
The figures for #Russia's daily losses again show a very big number of artillery systems destroyed by #Ukraine, plus another helicopter downed.
RU soldiers killed is down almost 300 on yesterday but still a very, very high number. #RussiansGoHome
This is the start of the daily 🧵for Day 386 of #Russia's war of choice in #Ukraine.
For all Wednesday's news, including US pilots volunteering for Ukraine, assassination plot against an EU figure and an unexplained fire on occupied #Berdyansk, click⬇️
I'll start today with #BakhmutHolds.
No big changes to report. #Wagner troops have advanced right into the centre, but it's constantly changing as the cattle get slaughtered and retreat.
Speaking of slaughter of Russians, the number of invading soldiers killed in the last 24 hours tops 1,000 again. A large number of #Russia's troops died in an attack at #Nevelske 20km from #Avdiivka
High numbers of tanks + artillery systems too, plus the aircraft I noted y'day.
