Let’s talk about Money later shall we?

There’s been many questions about the congruence or relationship between Guilt and Gold. Pastors would often quote...

...”What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul” shortly before moving to their permanent site & purchase a Jet.

All at the expense of those who believe God has a weekly collector that transubstantiates these funds to Heaven to prepare the mansions.

Still, the LOVE of Money is the root of all Evil.

This must not be interpreted as MONEY = Evil. Another scripture likened money as the vehicle of the Gospel. Data cost money.

Let’s talk Money and You...💰

Money isn’t everything but almost everything needs money. The difference between having a job & having a vocation is that a job mostly...

...is some unpleasant routine you engage in, with the sole purpose of making money.

There’re lots of jobs abroad bcos there’re certain things many people won’t like to do that we can make money from...

...if we force ourselves to engage in.

And this is what most people do. Graduates alike. There are well educated folks in Nigeria driving taxis in Europe & America for survival.

Not to mention those who come home once in 3 years to show off but wash corpses & clean public utilities for a living abroad.

For some it’s all about making this money. Many of our young girls are trafficked in hundreds daily for a life of prostitution in Europe.

I have read case files of some shady madams in Nigeria getting payments of £15k monthly from each girl they traffic successfully to Italy.

But let’s focus on legit toils...

Mechanization/Industrialization took all the jobs away & brought about another revolution.

Destroying the agelong comfort zones work in the assemblage brings.

In today’s world, absurdity is the same thing as doing something just for the sole purpose of making money.

If money becomes your goal, then you’ll begin to confuse it with Happiness and Pleasure.

You’re not rich until you have something that money can’t buy.

When U check ur bank balance 50times a day expecting a miraculous alert or erroneous CBN transfer as agreed with your Pastor, U’re confused!

It’s like a Dog salivating over the poster of a Bone. Remember the ancient Guilt that if you don’t work, you’ve got no right to eat?

That rule no longer applies to politicians and Religious leaders.

This explains why most youths would rather claim they’ve been called (or flashed as the case may be) by God or simply join the Politicians.

In other words according to that old maxim, if there are others in the world who have nothing or no means to eat then you shouldn’t have...

...reasons to enjoy a beautiful dinner even if you have no means to convey it to them? 🤔

This is one of those Guilt & Gold situation I’m talking about.

While it is true that we are one family & that every individual is connected to another, we should try to do something about the situation.

One way of NOT doing something about it is to feel guilty about it.

When we feel guilty about a situation usually, instead of doing something practical about it, we resort to all forms of symbolic speciation

Some go for confession, some pay penance or Sakat, some simply pour their heart into their Pastors (Quack Shrink).

This is the kind of reaction that guilt brings. It is a destructive emotion. This feeling is not limited to having but also not having money

For men we feel emasculated & loathe each setting of the dailySun. For some ladies they look for a soul provider or meaningless relationship

Little wonder why in some cities in Nigeria when you erroneously profess love/likeness towards some ladies you automatically owe them Money.

Somewhat like hitting Park Lane/Mayfair stacked fully with Hotels in a Monopoly board game when low on cash & property to mortgage.

Yet some wonder why men don’t commit. But I digress.

Money ladies & gentlemen is the worst discovery of human life. But it is the most trusted material to test human nature.

Our attitudes towards our mistakes & misdeeds must be different especially as regards money & gains.

I love Diego, because he won’t lay awake at night weeping over his sins. He sleeps happily awaiting yet another adventure the next day.

Animals are practical in the real sense just like children who haven’t been taught this extra-ordinary hang up Of questioning.

Centuries before now, shaming people was deemed enough punishment for virtually anything before the penal code.

If you made a mistake & you are made ashamed of it to the point of guilt, it is expected in a virtuous society that you run around...

...licking the sore of your wounded ego because you’ll feel your Pride’s been hurt. But of course this is not applicable today.

Society is broken & Thieves are celebrated. They contest elections and win from their cells. Their kids are married off at a lavish wedding

...people take them as role models and they make statues of their colleagues in the same business of stealing from the collective patrimony

...of the people they ought to be serving. But let’s focus on the ordinary people on the street first shall we?

The first thing honest good hearted people should note is that it’s not a serious failing in human beings to make mistakes.

Everybody has to make mistakes. No learning is achieved without mistakes. Unless you are Chinese or Japanese.

The Japanese/Chinese for instance have a terrible Hangul about making mistakes.

This is why they never have the courage to learn other languages or perfect their English. They’re not being proud or rude. It’s dMistakes

English is badly taught in Japan/China alike all through their 7yrs of their curriculum. Besides the fact that they have irrelevant...

...priority over esoteric aspect of the language like Shakespeare, Dickens etc how do you carry on everyday convo with Shakespeare learning?

This is however the same way the English study French. But the Chinese/Japanese are always scared to try their English unless when Drunk.

This is why for those of you who have businesses in China or Japan, if you must converse in English with them, go to the Clubs/Pubs/Bars.

Applicable also to folks who wants dTruth from Nigerians or their political leaders. The inhibition Of Shame & fear is expunged for dMoment

How did we even get here? 🤔 Aha...We were talking about Mistakes & fear of Mistakes.

Set your mind free and enjoy the gift that is yet to be revealed in you. Happiness doesn’t come from money or things it can buy.

It can come from the fact that you matter and are loved by others. Imagine what a day of a Nerd like me will be like without you guys?

If you have a friend with a drinking habit, he won’t mind buying you a carton of beer to stick with him & relish the moment...

But ask him to loan you the same sum of the cost of a carton of beer and he will struggle, making you choose between the💰& his friendship

There’s no point of recriminations within yourself against yourself. Set yourself free and discover your true self (Purpose) then 💰 shows up

The Great #BobMarley said “Money is numbers & numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end.”

Don’t run after the Money or Women. Focus on what you love, what you are best at, what you can be paid for & what the world needs.

When the things you do brings joy to people, they will pay anything to watch you be yourself. Ask WizKid or Davido

The Goal must never be about more money but living life on your terms (Chris Brogan).

The value of a man is what is left when stripped of all his tangible possession and money. Will you have anything left ?🤔

You should know we all can always make more money but time is what is irreplaceable. Love yourself and value life. Find a way to contribute

Don’t throw yourself in the arms of abusers for crumbs.

Some people will only love you as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop. Distance yourself & choose you.

Never trade Respect for Attention. You’ll be fine.
