Bitcoiners don't detest altcoins because they compete with BTC, but because they're all scams that do nothing but exploit Bitcoin's name.
Only value of Bitcoin comes from its immutable monetary policy. Altcoins are all centralized & can be altered, & so are worthless
No altcoin can compete with BTC on being digital hard money. None of them can do anything BTC can't do beyond scammy meaningless buzzwords
The supposed use cases for altcoins cannot possibly be done efficiently using BTC's design. Only reason to copy it is for slimy scamming.
If you think there is such a thing as "cryptocurrencies" then you still don't understand why bitcoin matters. It is the ONLY cryptocurrency
If Bitcoin could be replicated & competitors were even possible, it'd be worthless easy money. Only when you get this will you get Bitcoin.
BTC has recreated sound money; altcoins have built nothing useful but made many rich. Getting rich without doing anything valuable is a scam
