no phones allowed in court. i’m going to try time-delayed, retro live tweeting. aka taking notes. see you on the other side.
all three cases continued until february. turns out writing down all my inane thoughts is about a quarter as satisfying as texting them.
“no one is good at whispering”
seriously why DO all cops carry a ring of 100 keys? that has to be heavy and cannot possibly serve a practical purpose. they aren’t LABELED for fucks sake
turns out i didn’t see kessler because he wasn’t there. is it normal for 90% of hearings to be requests for a continuance?
i have a lot of questions about cop uniform & equipment rules & regulations. none of them were wearing the same outfit. one guy had baggy cargo pants? one guy’s gun was tiny, like the kind ladies keep in their purse?
the chalkboard obviously doesn’t get much use. the useless diagram of justice park the detective drew at veronica fitzhugh’s oct. 20 hearing was still on it.
except in the big square that represents justice park, someone had written an email address and a passcode of some kind, 3 capital letters, 4 numbers. all smudged out but still clearly legible.
anyway court support is weird but important and you should check your local district court docket to see what you can see! let ‘em know we’re watching. we see injustice. and we’re not backing down.
sorry, my mistake. FOUR cases. i totally overlooked the dude charged with assault for allegedly spitting at kessler. one defendant's attorney had a bunch of schedule conflicts, they want to keep the 4 cases together, so all 4 get kicked to feb.
