Now I want to clarify the #IRANPROTESTS a bit more, for those interested.
According to the internet blockage by #Iran regime, I feel responsible to widespread the news coming gradually and of course hardly from Iran. Just be patient and read carefully dear world.
If you wonder what #IranProtests is about and what you can do for it, then this thread helps you to find out.
Believe it or not, You can help the people (and therefore the world) for more freedom, specially in Middle East.
I’ll tell you how:
Tired of corruption; discrimination; lies; lack of security; injustice; acid attacks; extremism; morality police, repeated arrests for reasons such as strict Islmaic dress code, night-time parties, membership of trade unions, civil rights and women's rights activities, and
defending the rights of ethnic and religious minoritues, and protesting against cruel status quo; the people of Iran have once again gathered in the streets, for protesting against above said corruption، oppression and cruelty of the regime.
The same people who back in 1979 - with or without foreign interference - were derailed from the course of progress, faces a war, went through severe domestic suppression, yet continued their fight for freedom and an end to repression every single time
Apparently like 1999 & 2009
The last one took place in 2009, a political uprising over a rigged election. After years of repression and fighting it's own ppl, the regime has become adept at denying domestic incidents and deceiving international organisations, and the governments, in Asia and Europe. #EU
Actions such as:
-Expelling foreign journalists and banning independent reporters
-Monopolising the state broadcaster as a tool in its the hands (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, known as IRIB)
-Recruiting hackers and cyber activists to control and shape social media
Recruiting journalists, reporters and lobbyists outside Iran and using them at @bbcpersian , @RadioFarda_ , @IranIntl International TV, NIAC and many more, in order to justify it's cruelty and behavior to the world and human rights organizations.
Now, 6th Jan. 2018, At least more than 21 were killed, and thousands have been arrested, social media platforms have been blocked, internet access has been cut off, students & social media activists have been arrested, and #FakeNews is broadcasting through IRIB.
It was great in 2009. But their communication with the rest of the world was limited to a handful of websites and as a result, they were unable to gain as much attention as they deserved.
Of course they will never forget the role of @BarackObama who compromised with the regime.
Thanks to tech, they can potentially send their message directly to @POTUS, but the regime has blocked internet. Iranians demand support from the world leaders as they fight for their freedom, to make Iran great again, which eventually leads to peace in Middle East, you know how.
Now here’s what you can do:
If you are a politician, put the regime's rulers under pressure. Send journalists and human rights officials to Iran, give Iranians the access to free internet and/or put more pressure on Iran government to unblock internet and social media platforms.
If you are an ordinary citizen who believes in Human Rights and freedom, use your twitter or other social medias, to ask your politicians to support the oppressed Iranian ppl fighting for their freedom.
Or at least supprt them and be their voice, even on twitter.
For about 40 years, Iran has been occupied by darkness;
Eight years of war, mandatory headscarf for women, theocratic rules, extremism, corruption, torture and execution of opposition activists has put them at the edge of their social tolerance.
That's the cause of #IRANPROTESTS
What do you think?
Is it the time for the world to join #IRANPROTESTS and get rid of extremists, fascists, dictators and human rights violators?
I think it's time to raise our voice and support #IRANPROTESTS, to make a better, free and peaceful world for everyone.
