Getting asked a lot about my armor sets so I'll make a thread for my MHWorld mix sets. For now most sets posted will be early/mid game sets since I haven't beaten the game yet, will add endgame sets later.

Starting off with my current Highrank Charge Blade set

HR13 Crit set

HR13 Great Sword set

HR13 Bow set

HR13 Gunlance set for full burst spam

HR14 Mad Dog set for pure raw weapons.

Requires Non Element Boot decoration which is completely RNG based, so if you don't have that I recommend to stick to the HR13 Crit set. Or use this one anyway because it looks sexy af.

HR14 Diablos CB set

HR15+ Nergi/Teo mix set

Great for weapons that don't continuously drain your stamina while attacking that can grant up to 91% crit when all skills are active.

Nergigante/Teostra/Rathalos mix or in short NTR ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Great for weapons that don't consume stamina during attacks like the Heavy Bowgun, can grant up to +30 Attack and 94% crit when all skills are active.

LBG set

Updated some of my sets since I've acquired a Weakness Exploit decoration. For these sets, you can replace either the waist or leg piece with Teostra waist or Rathalos legs to still have Weakness Exploit Lv3

Charge Blade set

100% crit set, requires a weakness exploit decoration

1. Gunlance set focussed on using Lv4 Normal Fullburts

2. Set for Diablos Hammer, works for Long Sword and Dual Blades too I guess

Bow set made on stream today

Dual Blades set, can gem in any Lv1 or 2 element skill with slot on helm and weapon

Sharpness+ set

Decorations: 2x Attack, 1x Crit Eye, 1x Weakness Exploit, 2x Speed Sharpening, 1 spare slot for Horn Maestro if you want to use it with a HH

Thunder DB set

Decorations: 2x Attack, 3x Expert, 1x Bolt , 1x Tenderizer

1. Bazel HH set
Deco: 4x Attack Jewel, 2x Expert Jewel, 1x Tenderizer Jewel, 1x Sonorous Jewel

2. Hammer set
Deco: 2x Attack Jewel, 2x Expert Jewel, 1x Tenderizer Jewel, 1x Elementless Jewel

3. Gunlance set
Deco: 1x Sharp Jewel, 1x Tenderizer Jewel, 3x Grinder Jewel

1. Spread LBG set
Decoration: 1x Tenderizer, 2x Attack

2. Odogaron Lance set
Decoration: 3x Expert, 2x Attack, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Elementless

3. Normal LBG set
Decoration: 1x Tenderizer, 2x Attack

Black Diablos SA set

Decorations: 2x Attack, 1x Expert, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Sharp, 1x Elementless

Should work fine without Sharp Jewel too since it still gets a lot of blue with Handicraft, just not as good with Sharp Jewel.

Odogaron Lance set.

Near 100% affinity (or 100% affinity when augmented with affinity once) when hitting weakspots, allowing you to have near infinite white sharpness thanks to Teostra's set bonus

Decorations: 2x Attack, 2x Expert, 1x Critical Boost, 1x Elementless

1. Spread HBG set
Decorations: 3x Expert, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Elementless, 1x Crit Boost

2. Clust HBG set
Decorations: 4x Attack, 3x Evasion, 1x Flawless

3. Vaal Lance set
Decorations: 4x Attack, 1x Expert, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Sharp

1. Updated Normal LBG set
Decorations: 3x Expert, 2x Attack, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Crit Boost

2. Water Bow set

Alternative Handicraft set, has the same skills as the other one (- Crit Element) but requires less Attack gems. Needs a Crit Boost gem though.

2. Water SnS set

2. General purpose set for weapons that don't need Handicraft. Great with IG/LS/SA/SnS/GL(no shell combat style)
Decorations: 2x Crit Boost, 2x Mighty, 1x Tenderizer, 1x Attack

1. Water LBG set
Decorations: 3x Stream, 1x Mighty, 1x Flawless, 1x Attack, 1x Expert

2. Zorah GL set for charged shelling
Decorations: 3x Enduring, 2x Attack, 1x Handicraft, 1x Sharp, 1x Tenderizer

1. Ice SnS set with Protective Polish
Decorations: 3x Frost, 2x Expert, 1x Mighty, 1x Sharp

2. Ice SnS set with Master's Touch
Decorations: 3x Frost, 2x Expert, 1x Mighty

3. Spread Lv2 LBG set
Decorations: 3x Expert, 2x Attack, 2x Crit Boost, 1x Migthy

Elemental Bow sets for each element (except Water, that one has been posted a while ago already)

Rest were filled with 1-2 of their respective element attack and Attack or Expert decorations

Those were made primarily for my Sapphire Star's Guidance run so your mileage may vary but they should work decently well outside of that quest too

Got my 3rd Crit Boost gem today (technically 4th but I accidentally sold my first one :p) so I made a new hammer set. There are 2 variations with the same skills but one of them only requires one Attack gem

Crit Draw GS for those that like the old GS playstyle.

Not as strong as the playstyle that's focussed on the True Charge Slash but I still got some decent results with this one like sub 3 Rathalos, sub 4 Nergigante, sub 5 Teo, sub 5 Kirin

Set for Deviljho CB, Water CB & Thunder CB

Still in an experimental phase, will most likely revise them if/once I get a capacity up gem

Those were primarily made for Tempered Deviljho but work well outside of that specific hunt as well.

Various Wide GL sets made on stream a while ago, mostly with different ways of maintaining sharpness since GL shelling eats your sharpness very quickly

3. Dragon Bow set (needs USJ armor pieces)
4. Alternative Dragon bow set (no USJ armor required but needs 2x slot augments)

I just completely derped on those Bow sets, so please ignore those, gonna make a new set. You don't need Free Element on this bow so it's a wasted skill (I blame this weapon looking almost identical to another Bow that needed Free Element :p)
