The real problem with AP's MPs and MLAs is they are not pure politicians. Many of them are businessmen and crony in nature. So they invest in politics only to expand business, get contracts etc.Each party is like a consortium to create opportunities and loot for themselves. 2/n
The folks outside AP and also some in AP has these two myths
(1) YSR is EJ and hence horrible than CBN

BJP should not give in to these cronies anymore especially because there is no coalition that can fall. You start giving into these thing India will never become policy driven. A rare opportunity came to India via 2014 mandate. Let it be implemented in right way. 4/n

The addiction to cronyism started in the year 1989 when Rajiv Gandhi lost to VP Singh. What that means is AP state leaders (congress and TDP) stopped asking for more ministry berths in cabinet. 6/n
Instead AP folks would go and ask for more money, more contracts etc. The congress party of AP was one consortium led by a set of biz folks. Same is the case with TDP. They are interested in politics only from a point of get money or get projects. 7/n
In fact some are not even in AP. Some folks are in politics to get road projects in Sikkim, Arunachal etc. This is out of norm - no where in India politicians go to center and not try for positions. But these guys from AP go to only expand their biz or their favourite’s biz. 8/n
But how they win elections? They get booties under the garb of central schemes eg MNREGA etc. Again one may ask how as they are same for any state. But when a scheme starts, before allocation, they ask to give AP top priority and that is a deal for supporting your government. 9/n
Example - When Golden Quadrilateral roads are announce, they asked to put Orissa to Chennail in the first phase. When YSR was CM, he even threatened Sonia that he will launch APCong as separate partly like Sharad Pawar unless she keeps paying to AP. 10/n
They kept on getting funds from centre beyond what they really need to get. Then loot and disbursement of loot.Same with getting NPAs also. Threaten and call it "federal dharma and all that slogans" to get more funds. 11/n
So it came a time that AP needs to be fixed to survive. That is when sleeping sentiment of Telangana was aroused. Even then the threat to centre was so high, they had to wait until the last session and break it up. 12/n
While breaking it up, the arguments are again "how many lac crores", "how many contracts", "how much water" etc. Nothing other than money. 13/n
The determined central Cong and Central BJP with an attitude of "baad mein dekha jayega" had written all impossibilities into the bifurcation document. NaMo was murmuring against it during division times. But a true loyal soldier of BJP, he did not say against it. 14/n
On top of it as a part of "election rhetoric" he went ahead and said we will double the booty during campaign. Now all that booty promises are haunting the centre as they can't give them easily. 15/n
Hence the reverse spin, numbers jargon from state and centre and complex excel sheets of money given, allocated, promised and things like that is going on and it will continue for sometime. 16/n
Bottom line - AP division was written in 2004 end by ABV gov and Sonia Cong. They were all fed up of "pure blackmail" emanating. Telangana sentiment could be aroused as that was a tinderbox due to sub regional disparities for a long. 17/n
