Namjin au where Namjoon has a radio show but it's between midnight and 3am so he's not really popular. Jin who has insomnia listens to him every night and can only fall asleep to Namjoon's voice.

This au will contain tweets, texts messages and maybe some full parts.

Namjoon is friend with: Jimin (his roommate, college student), and Taehyung (met him through Jimin, college student).

Jin's friends: Hoseok (roommate, underground rapper, occasionally babysit), Yoongi (childhood friend, producer) and Jungkook (Hoseok's bff, dancer).

1. Jin really can't sleep without his voice.

Things aren't going so well for Namjoon either.

Hoseok is worried about his friend.

Because together with someone you love, you can do great things.

Jin is just soft ok? How can he be rude to his best friend?

Namjoon is curious and taehyung is losing his shit for some reason.

For now it's just Jin tweeting again and again about Namjoon.

Jin is still oblivious and Taehyung don't find it so funny anymore.

Also I realized I didn't talk about what Jin was doing (like as a job). He used to work for a small modeling company but had to quit because he was so tired he couldn't do it anymore. Now he isn't really doing anything, he wants to get over his insomnia first.

Namjoon is actually worried.

It's been a week. Did something happen between them?

The friendship between these two is just adorable.

He's excited and feel more confident.

Maybe Jin will get some sleep tonight.

They have their own struggle.

They have been talking for a while now and Jungkook gets curious about something stupid.

It's not stupid though. If Jin avoids saying that it's because his dark thoughts keep him from doing so.

Namjoon is tired to work so late and his nights seems as long as his days are.

It's cancelled, the ratings aren't high enough.

They have time for each other.

And just like this revelations were made.

Jin was beyond nervous. He really wanted to see his new friend... he wasn't sure why but every time he thought of the word friend with Namjoon it never felt quite right. He tried not to think about it too much and re-arranged his hair while waiting for Namjoon's call.

When he called, Jin picked up immediately. Jin was in awe. Namjoon was so stunning and somehow it felt overwhelming.

"Hi!" Jin was the first one to speak.

"Hey" responded Namjoon after a while. And it felt weird because even though he never heard it, Jin knew this voice.

"Aren't you supposed to work?"

"Not today, no." Jin was sure, he knew this voice. It sounded exactly like Namjoon's... the other Namjoon.

"What job do you have? Why are you usually working so late?" He needed answers. Namjoon on the other hand started to panic.

It was a good time to tell the truth but he didn't know how to say it. As the silence became heavier, Jin talked again.

"It's you."

"What do you mean?" Namjoon looked at Jin through the camera, confused.

"Namjoon. It's you. I've been talking about you everyday."

Jin wasn't sure of his assumption but after listening to this radio every night for the past two years he was confident he could recognize Namjoon's voice in the blink of an eye.

"It's me." the younger finally revealed.

And Jin ended the call just like that.

Jin didn't get any sleep that night.

It's the next day and Jin is ignoring Namjoon.

Ok while I'm gone, what do you guys want for their meeting?

It was finally time for Jin to meet Namjoon. The man he had admired for so long and who was now his friend. Of course, he wanted something more than just friends, but he couldn't hope or someone as beautiful as Namjoon would want him like that.

Jin was so nervous he almost texted Joon to report to another time. He didn't though, he went to the café fifteen minutes early, and to his surprise, Namjoon was already sitting at a table.

It wasn't awkward like Jin expected it to be, at least at the beginning. They immediately got along. They didn't stay for long at the café, deciding that they'd rather go for a walk.

They walked side by side for almost an hour before sitting on a bench and admiring everything around them. Of course, Namjoon was admiring Jin. He couldn't help but take a picture of the beauty right beside him.

Jin was unaware of what Namjoon just did, he was wondering whether or not he should hold his hand. Building up his courage for almost five minutes he finally took his hand and Namjoon intertwined their fingers together. That day couldn't get more perfect.

Hoseok is happy for his friend.

But Jin missed something... or someone.

Jungkook is jealous.

They keep going on dates and this time Tae had to third wheel.

Jin was sure he had never been as nervous before as he was now. He knew his friends told him it would go well but the worst scenarios kept playing in his head. When he finally heard a knock on the door he looked at himself in the mirror one last time and rushed to open it.

Namjoon looked handsome, as always. When Jin saw his face, all of his worries suddenly vanished. They went to the living room and started to talk and fool around. And when it was time for dinner, Jin went to his phone, tweeting one last time before his death sentence.

Since Jin was on his phone Namjoon thought he'd do the same.

Namjoon was eating to his heart content but Jin was just playing with his food. Everything was set up to look romantic yet subtle. There were a few lit candles around them and music was playing in the background.

Jin suddenly took one of Namjoon's hand between his. They looked intensely at each other in silence for what seemed minutes or even hours.

"I have something to tell you, Joonie" said Jin after a while.

"Yeah?"

" It's uh... It's not easy to say actually..."

Namjoon waited patiently for Jin to continue, not pressuring him to say anything.

"Even though we have met each other only a few months ago, for me it feels like I've known you for way longer than that."

"Because you listened to me on the radio?"

"No. Because I feel good with you. I don't know how to explain this but... it feels like you are the missing part of me. My other half?" Jin started to get embarrassed by what he just said, confessing was something just saying he was his other half? "I mean... uh... I like you."

Silence fell between the two. Namjoon seemed surprised by the sudden confession and he felt like his heart was about burst out of his chest. Jin was getting more and more nervous by the second.

"I like you too, Jin." Responded Namjoon confidently.

"Oh. So..."

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?"

"I'm the one who was supposed to ask that!" Said Jin. "but yes I'd love to."

After a few months they keep being the main subject of conversation.

They're whipped.
