Breitbart launched with a racist attack on a group Andrew Breitbart felt did too much to help poor blacks, Acorn. He followed that up with a dishonest attack on a black official, Shirley Sherrod. The site was a racist sewer from day one, thanks to the man at top.
Conservatives today are pretending Breitbart has somehow changed and is today far astray from what it was. It's the same way they act like they don't know where Trump came from after decades of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. It's all so fake. Aren't you tired of the fakery?

things like this are why i cant help but roll my eyes at cons like @conor64 and @NoahCRothman who speak of this high minded, tweed jacket wearing conservatism as if its the go-to, when the right is largely guided by the sewer-dwellers like breitbart, limbaugh, fox, etc
its just so fake. so phony. its less believable than people who say they read playboy for the articles. its like saying they watch hardcore pornography for the insightful commentary about society.
and its also what drives me nuts about the mainstream media. people who clearly know better about what's out there but insist that the vitriol is coming "from both sides," when the reality is one side has nuclear vitriol and the left is operating with slingshots.
in other words, the right is terrible and the right will never say so, nor will the mainstream media. that means everything is terrible and just going to get worse.
