1) Alright. I expressed my rage earlier about the Rosenstein shit. I maintain that the hyperbole around him, which thankfully has died off for a bit, has put me firmly in the 'Earth should DIAFF' camp. You can guess what the second F there is.
2) But, I should explain what firmly put me into the 'Trust Rosenstein' camp. Thanks to @SentinelVI for pointing this clip out to me. Apparently yesterday was Law Day, there was a great presidential proclamation, and Rosenstein sat for an interview for it. c-span.org/video/?444870-…
3) Here is the proclamation in question, which Rosenstein gushed over for a bit. whitehouse.gov/presidential-a…
4) However, at 15 minutes in, things take a turn to the VERY INTERESTING. Because: Separation of powers and other such fun tidbits. Remember how people kept saying 'The best thing about the Trump Presidency is we get to learn how all this shit works'? This is one of those moments
5) When asked about Congressional oversight, Rosenstein leads off that the DoJ is very supportive of appropriate oversight. However, "There is not actually a constitutional basis for oversight. That has been viewed as an implied power and has developed over the years."
6) "There are conflicts between the Executive and the Legislative branch over oversight throughout history." See, this is important. There are a LOT of grey areas in the constitution, a lot of undefined room, where push and pull exists.
7) Remember the battles over sanctions? Over the past decades, the Legislative branch slowly ceded more and more ground to the Executive branch over sanctions and who could implement them. Then, every once in a while like in early 2017, Congress tries to retake control of them
8) There ISN'T a 100% right or wrong answer to this, oversight, and so many other questions, because the founding fathers left those areas vague so we could strike the balance most appropriate.
9) So, for oversight? "What we have been told in the few instances this has been litigated... the branches have a responsibility to try to compromise." Funny side note, whenever a dust-up in authority occurs between the Legislative and the Executive branch, the courts GTFO.
10) "But what has been established over time is that we have a responsibility to work with the Congress. But their duty is to understand that their duty is not to interfere with ongoing investigations with the Department of Justice." Now think about what is being asking for.
11) Think about everything @drawandstrike @TheLastRefuge2 and so many others have been saying. What we KNOW after the announcements by Sessions about Huber's team. We KNOW there are investigations into: Uranium One, Operation Cassandra, Clinton's Emails, FISA abuse, EVERYTHING.
12) The question that spurred Rosenstein's statement: "If you have an investigation on one hand and demand for information about that, how do you go about balancing those two things?" "Funny you should ask that" THINK about what Congress has been asking for.
13) That question was RIGHT ON THE NOSE. So, how HAS the Executive and Legislative branch overcome these hurdles? "One of the things we developed was the Inspector General." Horowitz bitches.
14) "He is bound by the confidentiality rules of the DoJ and has greater access to the Department records than would be appropriate to give Congress." Narrator: HE HAS EVERYTHING.
15) "The Inspector General is fully functional law enforcement who has the ability to conduct investigations and gather evidence." IE: Yyyyyyyep. Horowitz motherfuckers. Rosenstein is saying EXACTLY what we here in the Conservative Twitter Intelligentsia have been saying.
16) Next, he's asked about the difference between prosecutors and special counsels like Mueller. He goes into the history of the concept, that initially an independent prosecutor was someone appointed by the courts, like what happened in Watergate.
17) That was challenged in the Supreme Court who backed that a court-appointed prosecutor was consitutional, but guess who one of the dissenters was? SCALIA MOTHERFUCKERS. Pour a 40 out for our fallen homey.
18) So what's different with a Special Counsel? He's appointed by the DoJ. He is ACCOUNTABLE to the DoJ. Mueller is not an independent investigator run amok to knock out a sitting President like in Watergate. Mueller is tied at the hip to the DoJ.
19) Oh, another fun tidbit I just noticed, if you need any more evidence on which side Rosenstein is on. 14:31: "The way this admin operates is not the way you see it characterized in the media. There is no doubt by anyone in the DoJ that we are complying with the rule of law."
20) The interviewer even tried baiting him into questions about conflicts with the rule of law. "How do you go about managing those conflict?" "What conflicts?" "Demands made by the Rule of Law and those made by the Chief Executive." "THERE ARE NO SUCH CONFLICTS."
21) Seriously you spineless little fucking ferrets, how many times do you have to fall for shit spouted by goddamn Cernotwit and Faux News before you realize that THEY ARE LYING TO YOU. THEY LIE TO YOU AS MUCH AS CNN DOES. THEY WANT YOU AFRAID.
22) This is when it gets HILARIOUS. From the transcript, it seems a bunch of media types started treating this like a WH Press Beating. 39:23 "If we have found collusion or any other illegality in the 2016 election, why can't the election be rescinded, declared null and redone?"
23) "To the best of my knowledge" Narrator: Which is more considerable than the rest of our legal knowledge put together "there is no way to void an election. That is all there is." Narrator: Every liberal in the audience proceeded to be put on suicide watch.
24) I screen snipped this one from the transcript, 40 minutes in, because its too perfect. Speaker 1 is a reporter, speaker 2 is Rosenstein. "A lot of things you see on tv are not true." BADABOOOOOOOM
25) As a side note, the transcript is based on closed captioning, and CSPAN needs to fire the retarded fucking chimpanzee they have doing their closed captioning.
26) The next fucking BADABOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE moment: The 'they can't resist leaking their own draft'. The draft he was talking about? The Republicans leaked their own draft of the articles of impeachment. They couldn't even finish writing them before they leaked it.
27) 43:24, Rosenstein goes straight up FUCKING FERAL. Fucking Honey Badger-level testicular fortitude of DGAF. "I just don't have anything to say about documents like that nobody has the courage to put their name on."
28) Now for the next bombshell. Want to know what side Rosenstein is ACTUALLY on? "But I can tell you that there have been people that have been making threats privately and publicly against me for quite some time."
29) 'Oh, he said the DoJ won't be extorted' MOTHERFUCKERS. This man has the testicular fortitude of an entire herd of bull elephants. He has quite to his surprise been thrust into the spotlight of one of our biggest political shitshows in history
30) And he is displaying the brazen fucking superhuman levels of DGAF that would have had our lord and savior Harambe himself gently setting the kid down and backing away slowly with his hands up, averting his eyes so they didn't meet the gaze of Rosenstein.
31) And guess what? THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME WE'VE SEEN THIS SHIT HAPPEN WITH ROSENSTEIN. Remember THIS clusterfuck? 'Oh noooo, Trump better not fire Rosenstein because that is a totally cool idea and all his supporters should demand it, ohhhhh noooooooooo'
32) New York Times, politifact, 538, CNN, WaComPost. Motherfuckers, all of these people KNOW that Rosenstein is their WORST GODDAMN NIGHTMARE. An uncorrupted, honest, honorable everyman thrust into the limelight who said, 'Well fuck, while I'm here, might as well do this right.'
33) We should ALL simultaneously hope that we are NEVER thrust into the same position as he is, and that when we are we display even HALF the grace and brazen 'go fuck yourself' attitude that he does.

Done.

Retarded fish-frogs start speaking up against Rosenstein, BLOCKCHAIN.
