Writing and answering emails to The Wiz soundtrack today.

I've decided that The Wiz was my Black Panther. I can only imagine what I would have worn to that premiere! I'll never forget seeing Miss One show out. But Evillene was EVERYTHING!
I had seen The Wizard of Oz so many times and loved that movie too. But when I saw The Wiz!!! As a Black girl! BABY!!
The jump in excellence from "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" to "Ease on Down the Road"!!!!

LIKE!!! Black excellence is so masterfully petty. Qunicy really yanked white folks up with these scores!

This imagery is no different than Kanye saying that he is supporting Trump because the "her" in "I'm With Her" made him feel "uncomfortable" as a man. Mistreatment & violence towards women is ALSO a tool of white supremacy.

White supremacy doesn't exist without patriarchy.
If your justice doesn't have a gender analysis...it's not justice! In the long run, this type of shit still ends up hurting Black women. It makes me sick that some of y'all still believe you can use sex w/ a man as a corrective action. This video is what rape culture looks like.

This is the T. Don Hutto detention facility in Taylor, Texas. It’s operated by CoreCivic (formerly Corrections Corporation of America or CCA), a private prison company that has been contracted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The detention center is named for the co-founder of CCA, T. Don Hutto. The detention center is a major employer in the area, and they seem to pay people pretty well, too.

Never forget: faced with one of the most corrupt Cabinet members in history, GOP leaders shrugged.

They did nothing to hold Scott Pruitt accountable.

They held no hearings, laughed off oversight, and in the Speaker’s case, claimed they didn’t even know it was happening. 1/
Republicans in Congress demonstrated that they are incapable of governing.

But the public still learned about what Pruitt did, thanks to organizations who fought Pruitt’s attacks on the environment with lawsuits which revealed his coordination with polluters and lobbyists. 2/
And most importantly, journalists stepped up.

In the age of Pruitt it was reporters, not Congressional Committees, which found the truth, and reported it to the American people.

They did so in the face of relentless secrecy and occasional abuse from Pruitt and his people. 3/

I was just visited by two Secret Service officers regarding my tweets about #tRump. I told them I have no thoughts, plans, or intent to harm tRump and I never have. They advised not to post anything that may be interpreted as a threat. I was impressed with their professionalism.
Many are asking what I tweeted that prompted a Secret Service visit today. I won't restate the long deleted tweets because it might be misinterpreted as a threat. Critiques of #tRump are fine providing they do not cross the line in a way that one may interpret as a threat.
One of the Secret Service officers had a folder with print outs of some of my past tweets and my article, "A Mental Health Counselor’s Views on Speculations About President Trump’s Mental Health" psychcentral.com/blog/a-mental-…. I gladly summarized for them the thesis of my article.

We have to pay cash or not go + $700 per person PENALTY on taxes!
I had insurance, could afford my healthcare my whole life. Why complain? The democrats destroyed it! Obama lied about how many didn't have "health care". It's MORE now. It's was never healthcare. It was an insurance scam.
There was never a health CARE problem. There was a COST problem.
Cost of giving "free" stuff to those who had no accountability for it was the CAUSE of the problems. It began with medicaid/medicare.
We were giving it to people who were illegal aliens as well as the poor.
