I got my entire life reading this article! One of my favorite parts (I have many!) is that Lena helped campaign for Hillary Clinton but didn't give a dime! LOL! thecut.com/2018/11/lena-d…
I completely dislike the "a Black woman could never do this and still have a career". It makes white women the standard for misbehavior and forgiveness. Plus, if you really believe that, go throw some grace, well wishes, and think piece energy on Blac Chyna and my fav Mo'Nique.

This imagery is no different than Kanye saying that he is supporting Trump because the "her" in "I'm With Her" made him feel "uncomfortable" as a man. Mistreatment & violence towards women is ALSO a tool of white supremacy.

White supremacy doesn't exist without patriarchy.
If your justice doesn't have a gender analysis...it's not justice! In the long run, this type of shit still ends up hurting Black women. It makes me sick that some of y'all still believe you can use sex w/ a man as a corrective action. This video is what rape culture looks like.
