Judge Kavanaugh appears to have participated in a dark chapter of our nation’s history during the Bush Admin’s use of torture and cruel, inhumane treatment of prisoners – and he misled the Senate about it when he testified UNDER OATH in 2006.

My heart is heavy today as I join countless Americans across our country in mourning the loss of one of our nation’s greatest leaders and statesmen, one of my personal heroes, @SenJohnMcCain.
Throughout his life – as a Naval Aviator, a Prisoner of War who endured years of torture, a Congressman, and a six-term Senator – John repeatedly showed how anything is possible when armed with determination, a deep sense of patriotism and an unbreakable will.
His refusal to give up in the face of adversity inspired me when I was a mission-less helicopter pilot with no legs recovering at Walter Reed. In fact, I met him there for the first time when he visited us Wounded Warriors.

One of the best things you can do in this new year is to sit down every weekend and automate/tune up one single thing about your personal finances, whether that's an autopay for your utilities or for the first time ever looking at your company's 401k distributions for you.
Did you know that if your company has a retirement plan for you, that you can change how they've allocated it in terms of investments? Go look into it and spend even 15 minutes looking at how your money has been invested. Even if it's just a few dollars.
I winced away from the idea of looking at money for so long. I had/have/absolutely will have forever some monster student loans. Didn't come from wealthy folk, so I didn't understand anything about it and was in general scared of it.

One of the best things that ever happened to the opposition forces in Nigeria pre-2015 was the loss of five AD states in 2003, leaving Gov. Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Capo Di Tutti of the AD - and I once highlighted this in a previous thread.

Whatever Bola wanted done, the AD did.
Bola Tinubu literally financed the AD in many states, determined who was candidate and oftentimes imposed them on his colleagues the past Governors - none of whom could disagree (except Pa Adefarati in Ondo) since Tinubu was sole financier.

By 2007, he changed the party name.
From AD to AC to ACN - Tinubu determined the pace and tone of opposition all alone.

If he wanted Lai Moh’d to demand GEJ as VP declare his assets publicly and GEJ complied then asked Fashola to do same, then same Tinubu asked same Lai to hypocritically defend Fashola - he did.

One of the biggest mistakes newbies make is spending time/money to turn an idea into reality BEFORE they've even validated it will actually work.

Learning how to validate ideas fast was one of the best things I ever did.

Validating an idea means figuring out whether or not it will actually work before taking the time to actually build everything out.
It's important to know how to validate because it prevents you from wasting time on low ROI shit that doesn't produce results.

Being able to validate ideas fast is what separates entrepreneurs from "wantrepreneurs."
