One of the best things about the music & creativity in Ireland is the sense of community - songwriter nights, messageboards, open mics, midweek guitar sessions... where do you go to meet like-minded people?
I’d suggest starting with something like #IrishMusicParty - Monday night from 9pm on Twitter. Jump in and get asking questions or meeting people.
You could also try messageboards like @thumped thumped.com (for more punk/diy vibes) or @reddit reddit.com/r/irishmusicsc… (for more mainstream stuff)
