-Stop pitching yourself as a Jack of All Trades
-Stop positioning yourself as an agency when you're just one person
-Stop offering 5 different services
Pick ONE service to offer and go all in
SEO, copy, web design etc
WTF does that mean?
I don't know what you're good at
And you probably don't know either
ONE service
ONE offer
And maybe ONE niche
Simplify your life and your business
- Don't try to convince a brick and mortar business to go online
- Don't try to sell email marketing to a company who doesn't have an email list
Work with businesses who ALREADY work with freelancers
I don't work with businesses who don't know the difference between copywriting and copyrighting... or content writing and direct response copy
I work with million dollar businesses who ALREADY work with DR copywriters
Work with clients who ALREADY understand and appreciate what you do
Who do you think will pay more for email copy?
A supplement company making $100,000 a month or your local pizza parlor?
It's a no brainer
Who do you think is a better client for web design?
A chiropractor with no website or an e-commerce guy who needs a new Shopify store every 6 months?
Think about it
I wouldn't try to convince people to get into crypto if they're not already in it
Go after the people who ALREADY own Bitcoin, ALREADY know what blockchain is, ALREADY know how Coinbase works
Less hurdles, less convincing = more money, easier clients
So you stack on more services and offers, but all you're doing is diluting your positioning
Shift your mindset to believing that the ONE thing you offer has immense value ... and shout it from the rooftops
