I discussed Aug 3 Trump Tower meeting with @chrislhayes @jonathanchait

Potential criminal law issues include:

federal campaign law violation
Erik Prince perjury

With evidence Don Jr may have also lied to Congress about meeting, it raises another set of legal issues...
A key question now: whether there was coordination b/w Erik Prince and Don Jr (and OTHERS) to lie to federal authorities about Aug 3 meeting, dealings with George Nader as UAE emissary.

I wrote about sweeping in others involved in any conspiracy to lie

Why yourself: Why would either one (Erik Prince, Don Jr) lie unless they had a tacit understanding that others involved in the Aug 3 meeting would lie too. 3/
Nader would presumably testify against Don Jr, Prince, others.

He is cooperating and has had "THREE interviews with special counsel investigators and FOUR appearances before a federal grand jury"
(@PierreTABC @meekwire reporting).

Sounds like he has a lot of beans to spill. /4
True that perjury is not so often charged, but this case (1) involves a special counsel looking over the shoulder of the people testifying, (2) concerns counterintelligence matters, and (3) four of the five guilty pleas include the offence of lying to federal authorities. 5/
Here is the fairly clear evidence that Donald Trump Jr. also likely lied to Congress about the Aug. 3 meeting with Erik Prince and the UAE-Saudi emissary George Nader
