Two significant items:

1. Felix Sater once said he gave up work on Moscow tower deal only in December 2016 (in @hunterw @BrettRedacted May 2018 interview)

Could help explain why Trump-Giuliani need to come clean, because Sater testimony etc.

Also December is l.a.t.e. 1/3
2. Potential for quid pro quo grows larger as:

The timeline for Sater-Cohen Moscow tower deal extends later into 2016; and
The timeline for Sater-Cohen pro-Russia Ukraine back channel deal extends earlier into 2016.

To explain the origin story of how the #Maleguardianship law came about.
I must first tell the story of #MishaalAlSaud. She was a #Saudi princesses that was executed in 1977 for committing adultery. In sharia law, such crimes must be witnessed by 4 men during the sexual act.
Or if the person confessed in court three times. But when you are royalty the sharia rules don’t apply. #MishaalAlSaud was 19 years old when her father “King Fahad” sent her away to Lebanon for school. She met & fell in love with the #Saudi ambassador’s nephew #KhalidAlMulhallal
Both #MishaalAlSaud and #KhalidAlMulhallal made the mistake of meeting up with each other a couple of times when they came back to #Saudi. Soon enough word got out and they were both in trouble. So #MishaalAlSaud decide to fake her own death by drowning and flee the country.

An intentionally planted front page false story in the Guardian has now led to statements in Congress, the activation of the U.S. Secretary of State, the DoJ, Ecuador's DoJ, and Ecuador's astonishing agreement to formally let a foreign power interrogate its diplomatic staff.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

THREAD! 1-A number of experts are saying the recent @nytimes @ScottShaneNYT @MarkMazzettiNYT BIG #Trump-#Russia piece is one of the best pieces of journalism in recent years, and IT SURE IS. I had three levels of reaction to this as someone who has closely analyzed this topic.
2-1st, I was OVERJOYED that 1 of the best newspapers FINALLY gave 2 of their best journalists go-ahead & space to cover the #Trump-#Russia the only way it can be properly understood: a deep-dive detailed look at big, overall picture over time. Our society is better off for it!
3-2nd, I was SUPER frustrated generally cuz, 2+ years after topic should've obvi been covered this way only @NYTimes among biggest outlets has done this. W/ smaller respected outlets. Even 1 year into it only @aminterest/@submergingmkt, @newrepublic/@craigunger had. Circa 0 since
