(p. 13) The myriad of languages the RBS published in and the extensive reach of the RBS across the entire Russian Empire. Freemasonry was key to this as was the Russian Orthodox Church which supported the spread of the movement.

Around 100 soldiers are believed to have joined the Greek Volunteer Guard, formed at Mladic's request. The unit, which fought alongside Russians and Ukrainians, was led by Serb officers and had its own insignia - the double-headed eagle of Byzantium.
Greece sent shipments of light arms & ammunition to the Bosnian Serb army between 1994-95. The report describes how Greek volunteers were implored, in intercepted army telephone conversations, to raise the Greek flag after the town fell.
The 459th sitting of the Golden Dawn trial is scheduled to begin at 12 noon in Athens Appeal Court.
The presiding judge, Maria Lepenioti, is expected to hand down sentences to the 57 people convicted in the trial of the criminal organisation.

Judges will also decide if and who is going to begin their sentence before the hearing at the second degree court. They may decide to suspend some sentences until that process.

The sentencing process will take some time as presiding judge will announce the penalties for each offense separately and then, at the end, announce the total sentence to be imposed on each defendant.

Today the #GoldenDawn trial sits for its 457th hearing. The court is expected to decide on whether there are grounds for recognising mitigating circumstances. After this decision, the prosecutor will submit her proposal for sentencing.

The defence lawyers will then be afforded an opportunity to respond to these sentencing proposals. The court is expected to hand down sentences later today, possibly tomorrow. The court will then decide on suspending sentences and the opportunity for appeal.

Our investigation into the murder of Pavlos Fyssas is currently being presented to a court near Athens. Lawyers for the neo-Nazi organisation #GoldenDawn failed to convince the judge to exclude, after they admitted they had not even read the report to which they were objecting.
Fyssas, a Greek anti-fascist rapper, was killed on 18 Sep 2013 by a member of Golden Dawn. Our investigation was first discussed in July, in the courtroom at Korydallos Prison, near Athens. Lawyers for the GD objected strenuously, questioning our credentials.
Fyssas' murder has taken on national significance. 69 leading members of GD - Europe's only neo-Nazi group with seats in a national parliament - are charged with running a criminal organisation. If they are found guilty, GD would lose its 16 seats in Greece's parliament.
