Filmmakers strapped GoPros to musicians’ instruments and tracked their finger movements so they could easily mimic them in the animation studio. He’s literally playing the guitar!
Lighting in the fictional town of Santa Cecilia is based on hues from real-life Oaxaca.
...and the vertical architecture of the afterworld is inspired by the city of Guanajuato.

So, I made this list of non-awkward films to watch while home.
Julie & Julia – This is such a warm and fun film to watch (and it’s actually based on a true story). If the premise alone doesn’t pull you in, Meryl Streep’s uncanny ability to inhabit the spirit of Julia Child should.
Two Weeks Notice – If you’re looking for a rom-com to dig into, this is a good one. Not only is it PG-13, but it features Sandra Bullock in my favorite type of Sandra Bullock role: One where she doesn’t take shit from anyone.

Ava DuVernay — Ava got into filmmaking after having a successful career as a publicist. According to Vulture, Ava implements some of the skills she learned as a publicist into how she now operates as a director. Ava has done films like 13th, A Wrinkle In Time, and Selma.
Quentin Tarantino — Tarantino had a slew of other jobs before becoming a successful director including Elvis impersonator, a recruiter, and a video store clerk. Tarantino has gone on to write and direct some of the best nonlinear films of our time, like the Kill Bill trilogy.

Do you ever watch a film and wish that the women in it had more — I don’t know… autonomy… character development… LINES? Alison Bechdel (creator of Fun Home) did too. So, she made the Bechdel test (thread):
To “pass” the Bechdel test a work must…
1. Have more than two women
2. … who speak to each other
3. ... about something other than a man.

The Last Jedi — Personally, this is one of my favorite Star Wars films, and it’s not just because of how amazing Laura Dern’s hair is in it. The Last Jedi is jam-packed with strong female leads that will make you feel like you can save the universe, too.

Some of you may have noticed that I'm sporting a new tag in my screen name. It's not just a fad though, allow me to explain in this lil ol' #thread:
1/ As you (should) know, january 3rd marks the actual birthday of #Bitcoin, as it was the day that Satoshi mined the first blocks and hence set the Bitcoin story into motion. Upcoming jan 3rd will be the 10th anniversary and this would be an obvious time for celebrations.
2/ @TraceMayer took the initiative of a call-to-arms for all HODLers-of-last-resort, to join him and quite a few other prominent bitcoiners like @giacomozucco, @theonevortex and @CaitlinLong_, just to name some, and also sport the same tag in their screen name.

Here's a quick thread about the strangest part of last night's palace coup by Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa against his boss and mentor, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance chairman Carlos Ghosn:

For me the oddest bit was the description if the internal processes. Essentially, a whistle blower came forward alleging Ghosn and director Greg Kelly were involved in hiding his real pay level, and using company assets for personal use.
The matter is under police investigation so Saikawa didn't give many details, but the way he talked about the processes with internal counsel was ... weird.

Cette hypothèse fut émise en 1907 pour un médecin américain Duncan McDougall. L’idée de notre bon médecin était que l’Homme avait une âme et que celle-ci s'échappait du corps au moment de la mort. Il était dès lors possible de le vérifier par… une simple pesée.
McDougall se mit donc en tête de connaître la masse de l’âme en effectuant deux séries d’expériences et retirera de ces expériences deux conclusions dont la fameuse théorie des 21 grammes car pour le médecin l’âme pèserait donc… bah... 21 grammes. Suivez un peu svp.

1. Everybody uses Facebook. Literally everybody.

When we were first getting started, our clients were hesitant.

"Rich people don't browse Facebook. They won't buy from Facebook. No one does."

This couldn't be further from the truth. Rich people aren't immune.
2. Facebook advertising works for any industry

Another common misconception is that Facebook only works for certain industries.

This is patently false.

If we can target billionaire using Facebook, you can target ANYONE.

Proper targeting + DR copy = goldmine.

Here is a quick thread on why so many trusted patriots over the past few days have denied Q.
1. Q is under assault from the MSM. It is being blamed for leading people astray, and is even accused of stoking violence. Big time patriots are making statements:
2. Less than 10 people can validate Q given the secrecy. One of them is Potus. This means that any high profile #MAGA patriot who professes to believe in Q, especially those who have met or who know POTUS, must avoid the optics of having classified inside knowledge.
3. This would discredit the validity of the movement and demonstrate partisan leanings. It would make the whole operation look simply like a Republican PR stunt. Scott Adams meets Potus, immediately after denies Q.

This is especially for white women who are saying things like "But I'm trying! If trying is never enough, why should I bother?"
Let us suppose that you and I are standing in a crowd. You take a step. This step leads to you standing on my foot.

I say, "Pardon me, but you are standing on my foot."

You say, "I didn't mean too! It's not my fault!" but you don't step off my foot.
I say, "It's okay. We can talk about how it happened later. But for now, I need you to stop standing on my foot."

You say, "Oh my gosh! I'm not a foot stander! I'm so hurt and upset that you would ever think I'd be a foot stander! This is devastating!"

You still don't move.
