I'd like to take a moment to talk about something that gets mentioned too little…the genius of David Davis. [Thread]

A lot of people this morning have been laughing at his buffer-zone (BZ) idea. This is unfair.

Instead of having an ROI/NI border we will have 2 borders, ROI/BZ and BZ/NI. As the BZ will be both EU and UK the checks at each can be less onerous.
By doubling the number of borders the problem has been halved.

So why stop there? Why not have Buffer-Outer- and Buffer-Inner-Zones (BOZ and BIZ)?
Now we have 4 borders, ROI/BOZ, BOZ/BIZ, BIZ/BOZ and BOZ/NI. Each having only a quarter of the problems of that pesky ROI/NI border.

Now that we've established that more borders are good then, legislatively, we can decree that there are n borders, where n is any positive integer value, and the difficulty of any given border crossing is shit/n, where shit = the difficultly of a single ROI/NI border.

And given that the minimum parcel of land that must lie between any two borders is physically only constrained by the Planck length (0.0000000000000000000000000000016m) we can decree that there are simply an arbitrarily large number of borders.

Thus, by declaring that there are, effectively, an infinite number of borders to be crossed, we can see that shit/∞=0=entirely frictionless borders, as promised.

And, yet, you stupid remainers are mocking Davis. The man should get the Field's Medal!

Or, all of this is bollocks, and he's an idiot of such magnitude that his lack of intellect is the only man-mad object that can be seen from space.
