To the lawyers and others who volunteered to help with the refugee, immigrants, family separation problem: Many of you are now experiencing frustration because you volunteered with a big org. and after that, you have heard nothing from them.
Why?
A: They are slammed./1
These big orgs have reported that thousands of lawyers and interpreters and paralegals and law students... THOUSANDS have signed up to volunteer!

A good thing but also a tsunami hitting their onboarding process. /2
So what can you do in the meantime?
1. Stay on top of the news about the immigration and refugee crisis. It seems to change daily.
2. Connect with individuals, lawyers & smaller orgs here on Twitter. They don't have the intake problem and are still actively tweeting/engaging./3
3. Overall: Stay resilient. Immigration laws have long been a mess (ask an immigration lawyer).

So deep breath, keep engaged, and dig your heels in for the long haul.

What keeps me up? Babies and toddlers and children being given heavy duty antipsychotic drugs without monitoring by licensed personnel. We all know they don’t have nurses caring for caged migrant babies.
Deaths are inevitable.
This is genocide by the US government.
When kids are drugged they don’t eat. When babies are drugged they don’t drink. When drugs are given by unlicensed personnel kids die. Our government is committing genocide. And they are planning to continue genocide on a massive scale. #babyjails
When kids are drugged they aren’t learning. When babies are drugged they aren’t developing. When antipsychotics are given en masse to a pediatric population some percentage of that population will react very badly and may even die. Our country is committing genocide.

Off a judicial conference phone call in the ACLU’s family separation lawsuit in San Diego:

For now, Judge Sabraw refused to extend his reunification deadline for the 101 kids under 5 separated from their parents by the government.

According to the govt attorney, by the numbers:

83 of the kids under 5 have been matched to a parent.
16 of them have not.
The govt doesn’t want to return two because of parents’ criminal record, citing safety of the child.
The government deported 19 parents and wants to remove them from the class requiring reunification.

No, the ACLU says, those parents should also be reunified with their children, and they offered to help in that process

(1) Another thing Communists did to us:

- They wanted us to do things only for ourselves, and actually look upon others with animosity.
- They wanted us to destroy the family, replacing it with slavery to the government.
(2) Look at the above two points, and figure out what that does to inheritance.

- They convinced baby boomers that their children should have to suffer, not have any financial means to live or own a home or have children or have a family.
(3) They actually convinced baby boomers that it is BAD to give their children inheritance. BOTH @AandGShow's Joe AND Jack complained as soon as they read it's becoming more common for children to consider it theft when their parents spend too much on unnecessary costly items.
