All 12 Russians indicted yesterday by the Justice Department for hacking the DNC were members of GRU, described by @CNN as “a Russian federation intelligence agency within the main intelligence directorate of the Russian military, who were acting in "their official capacities."
💥Link to @CNN article about the indictments of 12 members of the Russian secret spy agency, the GRU:

⁉️But who are the GRU?

🧐Look at their emblem on the lobby floor of their headquarters in Moscow: a bat looming over a globe.

ℹ️According to NBC, GRU is reportedly “instrumental in Russia's takeover of Crimea and has been suspected in assassinations, sabotage, and other 'direct action' operations, according to Foreign Policy.”
😱Sergei Skripal, who was poisoned in the U.K. earlier this year allegedly by Russian agents, was formerly a member of GRU, but crossed them when he became a double agent for Britain's MI6—hence the grave attempt on his life.

🛑But wait!

🆗⁉️The Trump administration seems to think that the GRU is O.K!! Or they did in January of 2018—not that long ago!!

⁉️
💥💥💥In January of 2018, the Trump administration let three top Russian intelligence officials into the U.S.—2 of whom met with then CIA Director Mike Pompeo: Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service known as the SVR (once part of the KGB), and...
🕵️‍♂️....Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the FSB (formerly the KGB).

🚫Naryshkin was banned from the United States as a result of the 2014 Crimean crisis—by an executive order signed by Barack Obama.

ℹ️The third Russian spy—who did not meet with Pompeo—was Igor Korobov, the current Chief of the GRU.

📣Yes, the same secret Russian spy organization (bat over globe) GRU that the 12 indicted Russians belonged to.
🚫Korobov was also banned from the United States: he was an individual sanctioned by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for "malicious cyber-enabled activities" threatening the U.S. national security—also when Barack Obama was president.

📣Who announced this meeting?

⁉️I mean, how did the American media find out?

🇷🇺The Russians.

🐦In a tweet by the Russian Embassy.

👋A former CIA operative explained that the two Russian spies could only be let into the U.S. with a waiver granted by the CIA director, the White House or the State Department.

👋"Perhaps" the State Department—which probably rules that out.
That leaves then CIA Director Mike Pompeo or the...

WHITE HOUSE.
🦇🌎Which begs the question: why is the CIA or the White House (and let's face it it was probably Trump or ordered by him) letting the head of the organization responsible for hacking the DNC into the United States...right after they did it?

🌎🦇To get their stories straight?
🦇🌎Or plotting the next plan?
