Has anyone come up with a good general purpose word to describe the person who's experiencing a creative artifact? Player implies interactivity; user and consumer are so grossly loaded...
The semantically straightforward answer is "experiencer" but... jesus what an awful word
Replies are illuminating the problem here: prospects tend to break toward either 'participant' or 'observer'. What we really need is a terser word for experience that we can affix -er to.

Has anyone in UKGov, or most of the popular media, devoted even a minute to considering that fact? In other times, this would be considered a hostile act. A key reason we are not in those times is the EU. 2/
And 2) right at the end, Tusk is asked if Jeremy Hunt should resign for his USSR comparison. Tusk whistfully replies “That’s not my problem”. And it isn’t. It’s UKGov, and by extension, the whole of the UK’s problem. 3/

The impending defection of a top Kano chieftain of the PDP to the APC is top on my mind this morning and I feel we should place it in the accurate context of the unique Nigerian polity, as best as one who understands the polity can.

And also unravel and analyse what is going on.
Two important things to explain first of all: firstly is that the business of Govt must continue even as politics takes over and the onus is on the Recessionist APC Govt to ensure that Nigeria does not fall into a recession again in the last quarter of this year.
Secondly: it is a shame that the APC was last week celebrating rumours of James Ibori’s defection and it proves one thing - that the only people APC minions label corrupt are those in PDP who refuse to join them or those who leave them.

They were ready to canonise Ibori here.

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.
