Pocket is the primary way I save content for asynchronous consumption. If I come across an interesting article/video/site, I just save it to @Pocket to keep from being interrupted. It also attempts to make a reader friendly version of each page.
The iOS Pocket app is great, but the Mac app hasn’t been updated in forever. So I used the new Fluid app (fluidapp.com) and made a standalone Pocket app.
Here is a graphic you can use for your icon:
Make the following preference changes:
1. Set Whitelist to “Disallow”
2. Remove existing patterns
3. Add a new pattern:
https://getpocket .com/redirect?url=*
(remove extraneous space before .com)

This will send non-reader-optimized pages to your default browser.
You can easily save to Pocket with extensions for any browser, but it is built into the latest @Firefox browsers. I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you are a developer.

Firefox: mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
Firefox Dev Edition: mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/…
