The least disgusting image I could find of deer cutaneous fibromatosis.

In most cases the fibromas cause no serious harm and disappear after a few months, aren't transmissible to humans, and the deer are even safe to eat. Sometimes, fibromas go out of control, kill deer.
The causative agent is a papillomavirus. Like HPV in humans, it causes neoplasms (growth dysregulation). It's likely spread by biting insects, so targeting the insect vector is probably a good approach to reducing or eliminating.

Very poorly studied.

I want to talk about this image.

These are migrants in Mexico with numbers on their arms, awaiting their chance to cross the border and apply for asylum.

It's reminiscent of Jews in concentration camps, but let's be careful and fully informed before reacting!
The numbers are being drawn on in Sharpie by Casa del Migrante, a non-profit civil association that provides services to displaced migrants: shelter, food, safe storage. It's a shelter run on charitable donations, since 1987 helping 250,000 migrants.

So why are they writing numbers on arms?
Well, the US CBP are denying free access to border crossings. So Mexican charities/NGOs are providing transportation in small busloads to accessible ports of entry. Those numbers are the migrant's place in line.

Top level: Texas is a preponderance Democrat state run almost entirely by Republicans. In some areas, the only challenger to Republican candidate is a Libertarian.

Let's drill down one level...
A mystery starts to unravel. Texans who are strongly Republican. Latinos are mixed/lean Democrat, and blacks are Democrat.

This makes voting rights and gerrymandering issues extremely important to how a Republican minority dominates elections in a state with equal D & R.
Correction: Texans who are *white are strongly Republican.

On the majority of goods imported into the UK tariffs don't apply because they are imported:

1 From EU
2 From FTA partners at 0%
3 From developing countries at 0%
4 Under a tariff quota at 0%
5 On a 0% tariff rating anyway
@_HenryBolton Before the UK joined the EEC in 1973 we had tariffs and quota restrictions on non-Commonwealth and even some Commonwealth goods that were higher than the EEC's Common External Tariff, and after Brexit we will still have tariffs. The Dept of Intl Trade has no plans to reduce them.
@_HenryBolton EU tariff rates are on the more liberal side compared to other nations and because of EU Trade preferences and free trade deals they do mot apply in many cases.

The World Bank published a report on trade preferences a few months ago.

FYI - if I am beaten to death by a man and he claims that's just what I was into - he's lying.
''accidentally killing a woman during rough-sex'' is the new ''she had an affair/provoked me/I lots control through no fault of my own.'' Same result, different excuse, same age-old problem of male violence against women.
we are so quick to accept excuses and mitigation when it comes to murdered women, it chills me to the bone. It sends out the message that VAW is an inevitable, routine part of womanhood that is pre-determined and can't be tackled.

When I first started doing rope over 4 years ago, I was a decidedly un-athletic person. I had no core strength to speak of and had no particular desire or motivation to work out. Which is all perfectly fine because no one's worth is determined by how physically fit they are.
My journey is by no means representative of everyone else's journey or path.

But I am grateful for rope bondage and how it has helped me connect more deeply with my body, allowing me to harness my strength in ways I would have never before thought possible (or even desirable?).
