X: With your conversational programming do you think that AI will write all software in the future?
Me: This is completely the wrong way to think about it. Due to the uncharted space, most software development will head to augmented intelligence (ML + human) not ML alone.
... also due to Jevons Paradox, the demand for software engineers will go up and not down in this augmented intelligence space, especially if underlying components industrialise (e.g. what is happening with serverless).
... if you think that the future is less software engineers because some magical pixie dust AI will write all your software for you then you're going to be very disappointed in this lifetime.

The most popular option every time - backed on average by just over a quarter - has been to leave without a deal at all - bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi… ... well, I'd prefer GE followed by Corbyn + Brexit (preferably WTO but EEA docked to EFTA is fine) but that's a bit specialised.
... what I do find amazing is that "no deal" still tops the options after years of continuous campaigning both online and offline to overturn the referendum against no effective opposition. That is fairly spectacular, almost unprecedented.
But as always, do remember these are polls and not reality. Lest we forget 23/Jun/16 ...
Populus had Remain 10% ahead
ComRes had Remain 6%+
YouGov had Remain 4%+
Ipsos Mori had Remain 4%+
... One of the few dissenting voices was Opinium, who produced that recent poll.

Me : Because you wouldn't know what to do with it. You really need to learn to map for yourself.
X : How do I do that?

Me : To become really good at mapping, for it to become natural .. many years.
X : I don't have the time, how do I speed it up?
Me : Well, you could decide to actually start and use it i.e. practice. There is no shortcut for practice.

Before we start, remember this as you read. Just because YOU think the answer to any of these issues is clear-cut, it doesn't mean that issue is not political.

There are people who take the OPPOSITE position with just as much conviction, and they think it's clear-cut too.
Also - as an engineer, a developer or designer - if you choose to ignore the political and societal implications of your #technology, YOU HAVE MADE A POLITICAL CHOICE.

Some of you may have seen this image which has been doing the rounds.
Some of it's true, he was an organiser and attendee of the 'battle of Wood Green' [23 Apr 1977] against the National Front.
But what actually happened?
Guardian 21 Apr 1977 'London anti-Front rally banned'
The NF had been granted permission to march through part of Haringey on St. George's Day.
Permission for a counter-demonstration was granted to 'Labour Councillor & Labour agent for the area Jeremy Corbyn', but then withdrawn.
So who was the Labour councillor and area agent Mr Corbyn organising for?
'A broad coalition of revolutionary Left groups'
Although it is claimed here the Labour Party was involved, we will see just how many/few actually were involved with these groups, shortly.
